Curious if anyone has used Uber or Lyft for a round trip from your hotel?

Say you need to go to a grocery sore, will the driver wait (like a cab will) with the "meter" running while your run in, then take you back to the hotel. Or do you have to book two trips?

Don't know about your question, but there are a lot of drivers for each company floating around town at all times. Should be real easy to hail another ride... most likely the same driver anyway.

They may need to do it as 2 separate rides though because it may look odd in either Uber of Lyft systems to see the driver just drive in a circle.

if just stopping in for a 5 minute shop, just have them wait. charge for wait is minimal and cheaper than doing a second ride (unless you have extra codes earned). Have used both for pit stops for beer and snacks.
