On the casino floor, rather than bartops. By playable I mean 9/5 DDB, 8/5 JOB or 7/5 BP.

When I have wandered round before it seemed to be either $1 and up or very poor pay tables at $0.25. Did I miss some decent VP?

Well, Tubbs .... "decent" VP at the quarter level at Paris will be like finding a very small needle in a very large haystack. To me, the only decent VP is when I play "full-pay" VP, but that's a story for another time.

Just as an example of what Paris thinks is "fair game", is the fact that there are only three $5 machines in the entire property with 9/6 JOB and 8/5 Bonus.

You would probably have more luck finding what you are looking for at Bally's.

    JMHO ....

The problem with VPFree (and I think it's a great resource) is that it doesn't list games that are less than full pay. So something like 9-5 DDB, which is decent by strip standards, won't show up there even though it pays 98%. Since playing at quarters on the strip you're usually going to get 8-5, 9-5 qualifies as 'decent' even though it doesn't rise to the level of good.

Thanks. I am fully familiar with vpFREE. I was looking for personal experience.

Looks like I will have to stick with the usual suspects for halfway decent $0.25 VP at CET.

I didn't look hard at Paris, but when I was there it was 8-5 for DDB on the quarter machines that I saw (and played, but that was at a bartop.)

3/5/10 play, It's been a couple of years since I played them but I think they had the best paytable for quarters.

Just played twenty five cent 9-5 DDBP at Paris 3 weeks ago NOT at a bartop.

There were rows of VP machines right next to a bar or drink station, it was dark there and the bar may have not been open, but the quarter machine on the end had 9-5 DDB. It took $40 from me very fast, so go there and get it back, would ya?!?!?! :grrr:

I remember there was some kind of canopy or overhang above this section; kinda like what's over the gaming tables.

That's the best I can do to describe it. If you're there the last week of October, I'll gladly show you where they are!
