Since freeplay works in almost every machines (sometimes no on VP, Megamillions, few others), ,they are not rigged.

Though it seems that the freeplay seems to go away.. I have gotten handpays with freeplay.

That's just what I need to hear. I have 200.00 freeplay at Wynn, now to decide what machines to use. I'm mostly a card player, but hey.....i'll try anything!

I hit a hand pay at Wynn using Freeplay in October. It was on a dollar Wolf Run machine with a minimum bet of $40. It hit on the first spin.

Just have to be at the right machine at the right time. I've hit a few handpays and several nice sub-w2g wins, off free play. This is my best freeplay hit...

I got my very first hand-pay with $150 Free Play from the Wynn. I was playing $5 Double Top Dollar outside the HL room, 2 credit max. After about 5 spins, I get the bonus. First offer: 50 Credits. $250. Second offer: 115 credits times 2, times 2. $2,300. This was just this past June 2015. I used to think that you couldn't win on Free Play, but now I'm a firm believer! Good luck!

    BTW, awesome hit, sindustry!!

    Yes, the machines are rigged.

Except for the time I hit $600 at Four Queens on my freeplay. How sweet was that?!

If you get $500 of freeplay but happen to hit a handpay on the first spin, would you get paid the handpay in cash? I was under the impression that you had to play down the $500 first before you could take any cash out of the machine. No?

I got something like $125 freeplay from SLS for signing up for a card. I played $20 each in a number of machines. After I figured I had run $20 through the machine I'd cash out my balance. Is that how it needs to be done? Or could I have played one spin & cashed out the balance of the $20?

No - you can cash out any wins anytime. Some people cash out on every win when using free play.

Won $100 free play at the Wynn a few years ago signing up for a card, ran that up to almost a grand on one of those lame Roulette slots

In almost 10 years of slotting, I've hit 2 handpays on freeplay.

$3600 at Aria on my 5th $20 spin on $100 of freeplay, and $1260 at Foxwoods on a $15 spin from $100 of freeplay. Other than that, have probably gone through 10s of thousands of freeplay without any other significant hits.

I always use Free Play to play vp once. One cycle through the machine and cash out to form the base for the next trips bankroll. Been pretty successful so far.

My wife loves free play. Until last trip never really hit much on it, although she's made it last. This past trip on our last day we cashed in all the points we'd accumulated for free play, and first machine we went to proceeded to win over $1,000 on $1 spins using about $200 in free play. Although no "big" hits it was the most consistent winning we've ever experienced with free play, and since it was our last day gave her a nice start for our next trip.

Cosmo as well, iirc. MGM too maybe? I'm guessing they don't want progressives being pumped up by freeplay?

On a trip this year I signed up for the Tropicana players card where you got back up to $200 in free play on any losses when using your card for the first time. So I sat down at the bar and hit the VP I put in $100 and I only just dipped below that once and for the next 2 hours of playing I was in profit and ended up $150 up upon cashing out. Don't know if I was lucky or the machine didn't want me to lose lol.
