    My Trip Report

I was going through nearby Turtle Lake, WI with some time to kill and a need to stretch my legs so I stopped by St. Croix Casino. Also, I was curious to how busy they'd be on a Saturday afternoon.

I parked in one of the last available spots at the very edge of the main parking lot which was the first indication of how busy it would be in there. I walked in to find the joint quite busy.

My favorite machine was the only one open at the bank of machines in the "annex"/(pole shed add-on) so I took a seat. As I rummaged through my pocket trying to find my single-bill bankroll I was entertained by the lady sitting to my right. She was like a hybrid of Betty White and Mike Tyson. She would slam her fist on the BET ONE CREDIT button and then slam it on the SPIN REELS button.

I popped a hundo into the Triple Wild Cherry machine, set it to a buck, and hit MAX spin. Nothin. I hit it again, looked over to see my neighbor slam the buttons again, and looked back to my machine to see two bars/3X/2X on the payline. Paid 360, took the TITO and walked out +354. "Muscles"--as I've come to nickname her--wished me Congrats as I made my leave.

I didn't stay long enough to get an appetite to patronize the snack bar, restaurant, or buffet.
I did notice that there was a noticeable difference in the amount of smoke inside.

    It's not the Bellagio...

So, not a long voyage in either distance or time, but a fun way to spend a few minutes.

If it wasn't such a "meh" weather day (pesky sprinkles all day) I probably would've shot hoops in the park instead.
I guess legs are the theme of the summer for my bride and I. Cue ZZ Top... :headbang:

Hope things are going great in your neck of the woods. Your TR was awesome!

Thank you! My bride and I are going to another "almost local" for the weekend. Hopefully I'll have something worthwhile to share when we get back!

Good job on the hit and run- and good luck this weekend. I miss having a local casino or one at least in driving distance.
