. . this time it is the Frontier Fortune-theme. 3-day Quest with five cards and a community prize at the end. It's been up just under an hour and already the complaints are starting about how hard to get each piece and how many chips are lost trying.

    Yawn. I'll pass.

I'm doing ok on it. I'm working on the forth card and I'm up on chips. I am betting pretty low and doing the 100 auto spins. No clue what the community prize is.

It says "mystery event" at the end. Some posters on FB are explaining that the faster the mystery event bar is filled the faster it would be revealed. It also has an "invite" button to invite friends to play so the bar can fill faster.

I've been skipping these, but for some stupid reason I thought I'd give this one a shot for a while. Within about 15-20 minutes of playing between 1000-1500 a spin and a very few 5000 a hand BJ hands I lost 160,000 coins and barely got into the third challenge.

I'm sure they'll be a very small few who do well in these, but I agree with those that they really tighten the slots during these promos. That's the last one I ever try. and judging from how few of my facebook friends play during these things I'm at a loss as to why myVegas continues down this path.

Back to hording chips between double XP/LP days for me.

    Community Quest-Mystery Event

I'm new to MyVegas, so maybe I'm thinking too much, but I sure hope unlocking this "Mystery Event" isn't opening up the door to either double XP or double LP.

My guess is the "mystery event" will be a double XP weekend for Frontier Fortune.

Filled the first three cards but judging by the amount of throughput I had to do to get the final Sasparilla and how pathetic the awards are I won't be bothering to try the fourth and fifth cards. I only started with 5k in chips so can't really complain at being busted by it but I'm not going to get another 'streak' like I did today and the hundred thou or so in chips I'll be able to build whilst it's still on probably wouldn't give me much chance of completing it - best of luck to those that do bother with it.

I didn't realize until today that this was an ongoing quest, not a daily quest. I finished it all (I'm at level 95) in about 25 minutes yesterday betting 6k/spin. On the first few stages, I was getting a symbol with almost every spin. By the fourth and fifth stages, it was more like one symbol every 3 or 4 spins. Lost about 100K chips in the process.

I'm just starting to catch on that it's much smarter to hoard chips until an event like double xp or double lp. Otherwise I make like 25k-30k chips a day on average and if I bet 300 per spin I'm out of chips before I win 200-300 LP.. But when I saved up to over 100k and played in a double xp event I made like 3k+ LP

I dunno, the grind doesn't seem worth it, maybe I'm just unlucky or lazy though lol

Same here. I just bet 1000/spin to earn my ten loyalty points every 10 spins (level 80) until I'm either out of money or hit my 2000 lp. I win some of these challenges by default though sometimes.

For people who do this, how many red chips do you have? Do you run out every day and, if so, how close do you come to the 2,000 LPs usually? Thanks.

So you have 300,000 coins, you play for 2,000 LPs every day and never run out of coins? What is your bet per spin and what games do you like, if I may ask. Thanks.

I think they are trying to get creative in getting people to buy chips. In normal challenges, people know whether they will make it or not, and they know what the reward is. If the reward is a mystery, people might exaggerate in their minds what the mystery is, so when they run out, they might be more willing to buy chips to keep going, just out of curiousity. I've been doing my normal spins, but have only got through 2 levels of the game, so i doubt i will make it. I definitely won't be buying chips though.
