I was playing quarter slots and it was very busy. I stopped for a second to sip my drink and the lady next to me reached over and played my machine. I said hey, I can do that. She said you weren't, you were to busy drinking and she did it again. I put my fricke'n light on and a attendant came by and I told her what happened. She told her to only play her machine. She letf and the lady said look, either play or drink. I just moved.

You mean she was playing your credits? That's weird.

That would make me bonkers! When I'm playing I like to take my time, enjoy my drink and soak up the ambience.

Was playing VP at four Queens years ago at the bar. Some guy came staggering up and sat next to me and later his head on the bar and passed out. Within 30 seconds two big security guys lifted him up from each side and proceeded to drag him out. As they dragged him out his pants fell down and he had no underwear on. I can still see his pink cheeks going out the front door.

"right mind" being the optimum phrase.

It's kind of like sitting at BJ and having someone reach over your position and signal.
Is it possible she was trying to drive you off the machine so that she could play?

I don't think I could have displayed your level of maturity. There's times when I just can't resist a good scrap. My initial comeback would have been along the lines of who does she think she is to dictate my style of play? And , of course, we could have spiraled downward from there. You probably did the right thing to distance yourself from her.

Those who tell others how to play, I cash out, put my ticket back in, I cash in my ticket, start over, you never know it goes cold, sometimes the machine revives itself miraculously lol! sometimes I cross my fingers and sometimes curse the hell out of the machine, I'm not one to stop my spins, however it's not to say I haven't tried that as well, I've tilted my chair, I've left a few dollars in my machine, to have some jacktard still sit there, pretending he's so damn innocent, when he knew that wasn't his money. I try not to be an asshole in life, karma is a bitch, do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

Back in the day, I'm guessing about '95, I was playing coin slots on the strip somewhere to kill some time. There was a lady, and I use that term chairitably, next to me playing slots. She was wearing latex gloves and one of those paper-like painters masks that covered her nose and mouth. She had a small hole cut out of the mask so she could smoke. Anyway, at one point she slides the mask off her face and turned her head towards me and sneezed all over my slot. Then she put the mask back on, lit up a cigarette and continued playing her slot. I took a cab back to my hotel and went to the spa to take the longest sauna and steam bath that I have ever taken in my life. If that had been a guy I'd have gone to jail........

That reminded me of one of my pet peeves back in the coin-drop days. Inconsiderate smokers who used the coin tray as an ashtray! :( You get a good payout, go do scoop it out, and your hands are totally BLACK from the ashes! :(

lol what's the point of a mask if she's going to smoke? some people are either crazy or just gave up on their lives.
Another pet peeve is when I just pulled out money from the ATM and some guy comes by and asks me for some of my cash!!
(This never happened in vegas mind you. Only in the California casinos).

Last week I was at MSS playing keno on the backside of the casino on the far right end when this skinny dirty looking guy sat right next to me, I continued playing and noticed that he didn't put any money in and just sat there looking at his phone. (the place I was sitting was a ten bank of machines and they were all empty) I continued to play and just kept glancing over at this guy and he was still looking at his phone. Finally I got the creeps and just cashed out and walked away. I bet he was going to ask for a handout. I walked away and took a quick walk around and when I returned there he was gone. Weird.

Another time at the Orleans I was playing penny keno and this older korean lady sat right next to me and started playing and slapping the machine, after she lost all her money, she turned to me and said "can I have a dollah?" I said NO! Unfazed she walked away and came back a few minutes later with a dollah and stated playing again. I got out to there, some people have no shame.

A while back at a local casino, I was playing on a bank of 5 VP machines that had a 100 play on the end and I was playing in a middle Spin-Poker machine (this bank had a mix of 2 triple-play, 1 spin, 1 super-times pay, 1 hundred-play). A guy playing the 100 play max bet for pennies on the end got dealt premium quad with a kicker for $2,000 hand pay on triple-double. Before he holds the cards and hits deal he calls me to look at what he got and tells me he'll split 60-40 with me if I sit and take the payout. "I can't take the tax hit" he says. I just said "uuhhh..no" and went back to my machine. He quickly did find someone else nearby to take the hand pay for him. I wanted to tell that sucker to run too but decided better of it and just left the area. That whole thing just brought the bad mojo for the day; I couldn't win anything after that!

I was playing Megabucks at MGM and hit for @$1000 (can't remember the exact amount.) While the credits are racking-up, I feel fingers (in what's left of) my hair. This girl behind me was basically giving me a head massage. She was one of three girls (I really don't believe they were pros- more likely part of a bachelorette party or just going out to party). But I thought that was so weird and gross. Can you imagine walking up to a total stranger and running your fingers through their hair? She stopped after a few seconds and they left, but I thought that was pretty strange. I could understand it if I'd hit the jackpot but c'mon. lol

Another time, (this on my last trip,) I was playing triple play DDB at Venetian and drew four deuces (no kickers.) Only quarters, but still playing money. This lady sitting on my right stopped playing after this hit and just stared at every single one of my next hands. This went on for at least 20 minutes. I was getting a little freaked. I finally asked her "can I help you with something?" And she replied back in a foreign language that I didn't understand. So thankfully it was time to go meet my family for dinner. It's very unfortunate when strangers impede your mojo while you're trying to spend quality time in LV! Cheers.

Not so much annoying, but just weird. We were in Vegas - on vacation - still, I wake up early to get good chairs by the pool and soon get into a routine. So, I go down to the casino from our room at Mandalay Bay - walk across to go get coffee Starbucks, then outside for a smoke and drink my coffee. Must of been 7:30am ish. Some random dude and his buddy comes up to me; wants to buy my Bic lighter off of me for $100 cash. I thought about it for a few seconds and I said no - thinking this dude is clearly drunk - what if he uses the lighter to go set something on fire or something stupid.

Maybe I was just being paranoid haha

You press the "Great Service" or "Service" button and ask a slot host to watch your machine. I had to do that one night when I was on a run on a machine for 2-3 hours and I didn't wanna cash out. I need to go to the rest room pretty darn bad. The cocktail waitress let me in on that little secret. It does however, require a tip to the attendant but ti does make certain you will keep your machine.

Thank you for sharing that tip @Gaggles - It's good to know the service button can be used for that purpose in an 'emergency' when one doesn't want to give up a slot....probably only a die hard slot player (like me) would understand not wanting to give up a slot that is going to spit out a jackpot any second, lol,..:D

I was playing blackjack at PHo and doing really well... was the only one at the table besides this chick and her boyfriend (bf was just watching). I was picking up every card i needed and my stack was growing. She has no idea how to play, and her stack was shrinking. She kept blaming the dealer and/or the deck of cards. Eventually she purposefully spilled her drink on the table over all the cards to force the dealer to change the shoe.
