    Fall is a great time because generally rates are lower but some events going on in Vegas can change that. From a woman's point of view, #1 The Wynn/Encore, Venetian/Palazzo, Cosmopolitan - if you get the balcony, Bellagio - fountain view, Caesar's Palace - in the newer towers, then Aria -- next are the still good but not so luxurious - MGM, Mirage, TI, Mandalay Bay -- it all depends on your budget - you have so many choices.

    Honestly, I think a lot depends on an amalgam of three factors: what amenities and features are most important to you, which hotels did you stay in on previous trips, and, of course, budget.
    As a very young 50s female, my fav Las Vegas hotels for special occasion trips are Four Seasons, MGM SkyLofts, and Aria SkySuites. These are places that excel at service and attention to detail (especially Four Seasons and SkyLofts).
