    My Trip Report

Just returned yesterday from a 4 day trip. Stayed at the Luxor. I won't post a day by day detail just a few highlights and observations

    - stayed at the Luxor, it was great as usual
    - got a VIP pool pass as part of my MLife deal, practically had an entire pool to myself for one day, the downside was that all the pretty ladies were at the other pool. I spent the rest of my trip at the main pool! (why else does one spend time at a pool anyway?)
    - Luxor needs a window washer
    - played Craps at Luxor, Excalibur and El Cortez... Tables were ice cold, of the about 6 sessions I played I barely lasted 30 minutes at each.
    - plenty of $10 3/2 blackjack at the Luxor
    - BurGR at Planet Hollywood was excellent. I recommend the Farm Burger
    - First time visiting the El Cortez... This is one of the nicest Casinos I've ever been in. I love the history and the overall feeling of the place. It will definitely be a 'must visit' on every future trip. I gambled there for about
    half the day on Monday
    - first time at Tropicana, I've stayed across the street at NYNY and Luxor for years and never made it over there. Nice casino, will return for sure

Now for the gambling.... Normally I'm a table player (BJ and Craps) and VP at the bar player, I did play my share of these but this time I played more slots than usual...

    - saw the Willie Wonka machine that I watched in one of those YouTube slot videos, gave it a try... 2 hours later I cashed out over $400. Lots of bonuses and just plain fun to play. I returned to this very same machine several times in my 4 days and made about $1000 on that machine alone
    - Video Poker, total of 5 4 of a kinds playing at the bar at Luxor (triple bonus game). 2 of those were 4 aces
    - saw another YouTube game called Bier Haus (German Oktoberfest themed), killed it on this machine - played it once at Ecalibur and hit a $250 bonus and then on my last night at Luxor pretty much my last machine played for the trip I cashed out over $500
    - overall it seemed like every other machine I played was a winner, I'd put in $20 and cash out $40-50. It was a nice 4 day streak of luck. I drove home with my original budget for the trip and an additional $2700. This was one of my better trips money wise. But as usual win or lose I had an amazing time, good food, good drinks, fun time gambling, met some great people, life is good.... Now I'll get to do it agin next March/April

Congrats on the wins. Can't beat going home with more than you came with, and you did way better than that.

Thanks for the report! One of the ladies in our office swears by the Tropicana... she just loves it.

Nice winning streak. I'm like you, mainly a craps/BJ player. But, after watching YouTube WAY too much, I think I'm going to try some of the newer slots.

Like the table games I developed an exit strategy for playing the slots. Fall below 50% of what I put in then it's time to cash out - luckily I didn't have to use that strategy much on this trip. It's easy to see how playing the slots is the number one form of gambling addiction.

One thing I wanted to add to my list
    - had the Shepard Pie and a Guinness at RiRa in Mandalay Bay. I've been there a couple of times now and it is now going to be one of the 'must visit' places on each trip
