Well, I've been reading/lurking on here for a while, especially since my GF and I returned from our first trip together. It was my first to Vegas and it was fantastic, we had so much fun (2 weeks ago) and we're already working on our next trip.

Just wanted to say hi, I learned a lot from everything I read and I'm sure I'll have some questions for the next time. We're planning on going back for New Year's Eve so it should be exciting.

We're both pretty low rollers, but damn did we have fun!

Welcome. You sound like me and my wife after our first trip.:beer:

It wasn't long after we returned that we were planning our next trip.

We're always planning the next one...as soon as the current one is over! You've officially been infected with Vegas-itis!

Yeah.. My girlfriend had been before (for her 21st) so I decided to take her back for her 26th. We're currently working on how we can make it work for New Year's eve, definitely looks like it's going to be expensive.

Anybody have any recommendations for affordable but nice properties on the strip at that time?

Ya NYE is probably the #1 most expensive time of the year to go.

My first trip was it. I had never been, and who hasn't thought about going to LV? That was 19 trips ago, and I am planning #20........started on the plane coming home! It offers so much variety that everyone can enjoy the experience, and.......it will be different next time! Is it February yet?

yep, someone has the bug. :poke: Not to worry, you are in great company here so welcome aboard.

As for new year's do you have any players cards? Sometimes you will get special offers from them, but it will still be expensive. i would also suggest you go to all the hotel websites and sign up for their free offers, sometimes you might get a good deal that way.

Good luck with your planning. New Years in Vegas is still on my bucket list.
