Is this because of the pool or what?

Last week It was just $25 dollars for me not counting the fees for five nights.

Now it is $105. Which isn't bad until you factor in the new fees.

Harrahs and Ballys are still free for me but Flamingo seems to keep going up.

I am thinking I should wait. Still have two months to book. I would think I could catch it lower. What do you think?

I always book and call back to lock in any price changes.
In the past has always protected me from high rates.

My rates at Flamingo shot up about a month ago. I was locked in for May Long (Canadian long weekend - the one before Memorial day) for about $250. At that time the Memorial weekend was already around $650 for a Thur-Mon, so we booked Bally's (knowing that we would be going one of these weekends).

It ended up that we are going Memorial weekend - so Bally's it is - and the Flamingo is still high for all of May.

IF YOU CAN LIVE WITH THE PRICE...BOOK NOW!

    Flamingo Hotel

I learned to always look for the cheapest hotels. I always book the hotel with the lowest rates. I have noticed they never go down but up in price the closer
it is to the date you want. I always book months early.

My advise is to book the cheapest rates on the hotels that you can find that are okay with you.

The month of May is the beginning of Summer for many families. Plus, it is also the month when lots of conferences start to really get all the hotels booked with customers. There are companies that may have some extra money to spend so
they plan a conference in Vegas. There are also reality t.v. shows that take
lots of people to Vegas. For example: Some Talent shows.

I don't expect the rates at the Flamingo to go down in May. So look elsewhere.
That hotel is old and not worth $100. per night. I booked months ago for $45.00
per night. As you can see.... the rates have gone up. I booked this hotel four
months ago. It was the cheapest hotel I could find that I like. LucyR.

Well it is just $95 one night 10 one night and three nights free. Then add on fees and taxes. So I suppose it isn't bad. But I have 5 free nights at Harrahs and Ballys. What do you recommend

Totals for five nights would be:
    Harrah's: $100
    Ballys: $80
    Flamingo: $220

The rooms at flamingo look alot better, but I am wondering if pictures just do it too much.

A couple weeks ago I was looking at Flamingo for April 19-23 and they were really high, I just noticed yesterday they'd dropped quite a bit.

I'm sure it's like airfare, there's a certain window of time that it's cheapest but where that window of time is at is anyone's guess. LOL

I went ahead and locked in Flamingo for $250 dollars for total trip. I could have got the FAB King for 220. But I got the Fab Luxury Strip View for $250.

Should I have just got the basic room for $220 and did the 20 dollar trick and try to get a GO room?

Too bad a couple days ago it was at $150 dollars for same 5 nights. That's why I would like to be able to keep checking back like I am talking about in the other thread. I am just having trouble doing that.

I'd go with Bally's, then you can use the $20 trick to upgrade to the North Tower with a view.
