Ok I used to worry about comps then I learned that being a poker player I will
Never get out of sapphire unless I play a lot go slots or negative expectation games

Well I log into MLife and I am almost all the way through pearl and into gold

What would he benefits be of just being in gold? And what is it based on

I have stayed at the Aria twice in the last two months and only played a few slots there

Do they now take into account room purchase and resort purchases into tier?

Yes, I believe it's 25 points for every $1 spent.

Yes, mlife has been giving TCs for room and resort spend for quite some time now. You can go to the mlife website to get an exact breakdown of what the Gold benefits are. Resort discount may be the only thing worthwhile.

The TCs for resort spend is why people who frequent vegas for business very often, but gamble very little, can make Platinum, while someone who just makes it out once or twice a year and plays $400-$500 per hand just gets Pearl or Gold.

Will I get more discounted offers?

Not really sure. It has been a long time since i primarily played poker...i just received the standard poker/casino rate. My friends who do play a lot of poker, also play BJ and/or Craps, so they get free room offers all the time.

Sidetrack here, but one friend plays BJ to pad his poker, which I always laugh about at the tables. Whenever we are at the same table and he is short-stacked, and if I see him get up palming a few chips, I know he is going to the BJ tables. I have yet to see him come back with less than he left with. I tell him he should just play BJ instead of poker...lol

Your tier discounted offers will be better than what's available at Pearl, to be sure. Probably won't be free rooms, unless you qualify for those based on level of play, but you can expect something in the range of 15% to 20% off the normal available rate. As Platinum, I get about 25% to 35% off available room rates, it seems.

I found out yesterday that the MLife year is October to October. So you want to get as high up on your card color as possible BEFORE October to retain that color for the next year. I'm nearly at Platinum - just need one more trip before October to make it to Platinum.

Oh awesome now I actually have a reason to go! Haha as if I needed one before...this is perfect for me as I do a lot of last minute trips on weekends so if I can get 20-25% off of nice rooms without gambling that's a win for me!

your color means nothing except a buffet pass and the extra tier room discout wich you can usualy get through socail media anyway, its all about your adt, so if you gamble you will get better comps ,
mlife unlike cet your card really doesnt do much , cet atleast waves resort fees ,gets u into some nite clubs , line jump at the cage , free show tickets and a few other things

So I need 9k tier credits to get to gold and that would be just spending $360? I'm sure I can do that by October

Also one last question...do I only get credits if I book through MLife? What if I see a good deal on a third party site and book it will it recognize my name and give me credit? Thanks all i never paid attention to this stuff because I rarely gamble for an extended period and my trips are always spur of the moment for 1-2 Nights over the weekend so I always am paying $350 for a regular room

As far as I know, 3rd party doesn't count.

Yes, that will add to tier.

BUT - comps are based on theo, not tier.
