I have roughly 146,000 LP's left to use for my end of May trip. We go to Vegas once a year. I already have 2 rewards purchased.

I planned to get the 2 lunch buffets at the Bellagio for 136,000 LP's. I was wondering if I should just get 1 buffet for 34,000 points and use it as a buy one get one free. Then save the 112,000 points for next year's trip.

My concern is where this program is headed. Do you think it's wiser to use them up now in case the price of rewards go significantly up again or disappear completely?

A buffet in the hand is worth two in the bush imo. Get what you can while you can .... who knows what the rewards will be and how much when you go again next year. If you're short of points for 2 free buffets next year and the BOGOF is still a reward option then you can always exercise it at that point.

My mother-in-law always said "Let your pocketbook be your guide."

I would not be surprised if the value of MyVegas rewards declines over time.

I think you should use your points now. Rewards may change next year.

Put me in the camp for use them now. My experience:

Last summer's trip included 2 nights @ Aria, full $150 comp to Tender, and 2 tickets to Ka. Each was an individual reward.

    This summer is:

    Bottle Service @ Gold Club
    1 Ticket to Fantasy
    $75 off $150 to Tender
    VIP card to HoB
B1G1 3 day unlimited monorail pass
Free Bloody Mary @ Gospel Brunch

Both sets cost me about the same in LPs, maybe this summer a little more, but I would take last summer in a heartbeat. It is nice that since I had LPs to spend after buying my max of 3 for the MGM props that the partners opened up other options, as this will be my last Vegas trip for a while.

Agree with the others. The value of the program is slowly declining so use what you can now. Who knows what will be there next year....or if it will even be there next year.

Use em. Why not? I wouldn't count on the future of the game, or what the rewards might be. Besides, in a few months you could easily earn that amount back again.

Use them now, the game won't last forever

I'm using 250K+ for my trip in 3 weeks

I'm unfortunely in the same boat as you. I've already redeemed for a Bellagio dinner buffet, Mirage dinner buffet, MGM dinner buffet, Wolfgang Puck appetizer and monorail BOGO 2 Day pass for my solo trip in June and I still have 168,000 LPs left.

I thought about one of the shows instead of one of the buffets but I'm not a huge Cirque fan and I've already seen KA, Love, Zumanity and O. I wish there was a reward for CarrotTop tickets.
