As a resident of Northwest Las Vegas, we rotate visiting among the local Stations Casinos, namely Santa Fe, Red Rock , and Aliente. Aliante for some time has not been accepting rewards coupons. On my last visit they indicated the Stations Boarding Pass will be discontinued. What is the situation concerning Aliente. We enjoyed visiting them but won't if they do not offer the Stations prmotions. Will they come up with their own promotions to make our visits more worthwhile? Who knows? Newby

Newby, if you take your old Stations slot card to Aliante and have them make you an Aliante card, they're supposed to credit your new card with the amount of points you have on your Stations card...So I would do that to start off with some points there..

But be sure you do it at the Rewards Center. I had a pitboss make me a new card for Aliante but he warned me that if he did it in the pit, I wouldn't get the points carryover...But I didn't play much slots/video poker at Stations so I didn't care..

I'm not impressed with any of their current promotions..

Sorry, George, but that's wrong. No points are able to be transferred from Stations to Aliante. The only thing we can do is give you a card at a comparable tier level to the one you had at Stations. All of the promotions say to bring your Stations card and we will transfer your STATUS. Not your points. Those points belong to Stations until you redeem them.

Everyone starts with ZERO points at Aliante. But with daily point multipliers, it shouldn't be difficult to build up points quickly.

Hmm, I guess they're giving bad information about just about everything in the pit then...who's the manager of table games or the casino? They made a big deal about getting a new card at the Rewards Center after it opened because they'd match the points you had on your Stations card and they wouldn't if I had them make me a card in the pit...they said they could match the status but not the points if I had them do it...I had them do it anyway because I don't use te card much in machines...:rolleyes2:
