One of the hosts at Aliante was recently promoted to Marketing Manager and transferred to Sante Fe Station to accept the position. That leaves two remaining hosts. Has anyone heard anything new regarding the new management team that will be taking over after the name change from Aliante Station to Aliante later this year?

    Regards,
    Cruiser

I did not know that but today I was surprised I could only book ONE night upfront comp for the week before Christmas. My one days play was just shy of $16k last April. I only stayed one night. Charged nothing to my room. Ever since I have been getting 3 comp nights from the marketing dept. In fact today I got one good till the end of November. After my April trip a host stared emailing me to come back. I tried to book midweek for December, but she wanted to charge me for two of my 3 nights. I told her I would hold out for a December marketing offer and book on that.

I have a longtime history with Stations is why this threw me.

I have been very spoiled for the past 25 years of upfront comp rooms!

At this point in time, if I get the December marketing offer I may book it but will only play one day. I had planned two days play. Now I will play elsewhere the second day.

Maybe this is the price I'm going to pay for full pay in n LV.

Yes, Jennifer Fleischmann moved over to Santa Fe as marketing manager, so we have only 2 hosts -- Mando Rueda and Merari Contreras -- for now.

Since Aliante will no longer be affiliated with Station Casinos after some date in November (we don't have the exact date yet), things are up in the air, and I don't know how they're handling things like hiring. Some vacant positions are being filled, but others aren't. We are in transition.

The new management team is on the property, working in offices set up where the pancake house used to be. We will be an independent casino, and they are working on things like computer systems, for example.

One thing they told us is that hotel offers booked via Stations offers beyond the changeover date will be honored.

We will all keep our jobs (no need to re-apply), seniority, benefits, and start dates. Ownership will not change. We've been owned by Aliante Gaming LLC for almost a year.

The name will be Aliante Casino + Hotel (just dropping the Station name).

Lolly, I don't know if Stations has changed their hotel offers, but it's possible yours is due to the upcoming change. Regardless, I'm sure you'd still have the opportunity to have a host comp you more than the one night.

Thanks Sue. After telling the kids about it, letting them know I'm not booking yet, they said "oh good, now you won't be tied to the machines" now I'm only going to play one day, so it is working out for the best and I will have more freedom!

Love Aliante and I hope it stays the same after the change over.

No, I have no specific info on bingo. I assume there will still be bingo, but they will no longer have the Stations progressives and linked jackpots. The new people will, I'm sure, have their own promotions.
