I LOVE (yes all caps) Alamo at LAS. I have rented with two other companies at LAS and miserably sat in line for 30 plus min. to only have to hear all about why i should buy additional insurance or offers to upgrade to something that will make them more $ while I gaze pitifully over at the happy customers quickly checking in through the Alamo kiosks in 5 min and out to pick out their car.
So I had a standard car reserved through Costco for $102 for 2 days 23 hrs in Aug when I found that pricing had changed and I could get a "premium" car for $100. So of course that sounded like a SALE to me. Better car for less money! (I suppose it's my Wal-Mart mentality sneaking onto my right shoulder as I'm only in this car to drive a total of 10 miles on my typical trip) Regardless I re-booked for the Premium car. Has anyone had a Premium Car at Alamo LAS? What types of cars do they have? it says Nissan Maxima or similar on the website, I started thinking....what's premium about a Nissan?

Nissan Maximas are considered Premium vehicles with Hertz as well. I actually like the Maximas since they're quite spacious and the handling of the vehicle is pretty good. Much better than the usual Impalas...

I don't remember Maximas put they were probably there. I saw Chrysler 300s, Impalas, Hyundai Genesis. We ended up with a Toyota Avalon because they let us pick from Alamo or National cars.

I got a Chrysler 300. They also had Tauruses as premos. The new Taurus is a very nice car, my buddys fiancé has one and I was impressed with it the night we used it to hit the casino.

I have a Premium booked with Alamo for August since it was cheaper than a Full SIze. I usually go with Alamo because I can get a Dodge Charger (one generally big enough to handle all the luggage!) So I have a reservation for a Premium and a Full SIze. I wonder which one I'll actually end up using, unless I can use the Premium reservation and take a full size car.....Hmmmmmm

I have a Premium car rented for 8 days in September. Checked Alamo again today and the price dropped. I used my Costco ID and the $30 off code AD2338FDF and got the price down to $172.32. This price includes all taxes and fees. I will continue to check Alamo daily for price changes.

Budget and Alamo seems to be working in tandem. They both reduced their prices for premium car today. I just book with Budget using Costco code BCD Code: W852802 Coupon Code: MUGZ029 for 8 days in October for $205.23 USD (All Tx included) Alamo is 230.94 for the same period. I booked both at these prices for a premium car. I will have to decide which one to use.
