The Golden Nugget has the game at Alabama -12. I'm probably the biggest Bama fan on this board, but I wouldn't lay twelve on the first game of the season against a quality Michigan team, playing without several starters who were top NFL draft selections during the off season.

I'm not sure anyone else besides the LVH (former Hilton) has lines up yet for CFB.

Funny...every Michigan fan I've talked to (and I know quite a few) thinks the Wolverines are going to get pasted. And here is a 'Bama fan showing concern.

-12 is tough. National Champs Bama only beat a mid-level B1G team by 16 last season. Bama lost a lot but they are the definition of a "reloading" type of team. Michigan is coming off a BCS win and are B1G favorites. I am hearing that ND is -13.5 vs Navy in their opener. That is my top pick for opening weekend so far. ND won 56-14 last season.

Anyone know where the LVH lines for opening week can be found? 66 days until opening weekend and I already want to start lining up my parlays.

Can't wait to be sitting in Caesars Sportsbook all day Saturday drinking beers and watching college football...starting at 6 AM Vegas time!! (Navy-ND kicking off in Ireland 2 PM local time, 6 AM Vegas time.)

So is anyone in Vegas currently taking bets on this game?

    Go BLUEEEEEEE.

Sorry had to do it or I get fined for being a Michigan alumni.

I fully believe Michigan can beat Alabama as long as the Alabama team bus gets lost on the way to the game

Michigan will lose by 20+ ... they are going through their annual pre-season over-rating. They will be lucky to get 7 wins this year. :poke:

Feel free to give the 12 points.

When I first saw this line I thought that I liked Michigan with all the talent Alabama lost. The more I think about it though, the less I like the match up for Michigan. I think Denard Robinson is a good and very exciting player, but with Saban looking at film all summer and the defenses he puts together I think Robinson struggles and I see Alabama covering. 28-13 Bama

Correct. Robinson is fairly one dimensional (the great passing game he had against Notre Dame last year was more due to ND's poor play). Bama will shut down the QB run, make him throw is and it is going to get ugly for Meat-Chicken.

    24-6 or so.

Thanks for the Bama love! Hope that line holds 'til I get to Vegas!
