Less than a month out until I leave for Vegas. Going with my oldest friend who has never been to Vegas and now I have a dilemma. I am booked at Aria, but now today I just got a good offer at Caesars for a 2 Queen room in the octavius tower. Do I dump Aria and take the offer at Caesars or do I stay where I'm at? I'm not worried about cost but is the quality of the octavius tower worth it to move hotels?

The rooms in the Octavius tower are beautiful. It is quite a walk from the tower to the strip but very close to the pool and buffet. I haven't stayed at the Aria but would definitely move if you have to pay for the room there.

In terms of room quality there is not much difference but I give the slight edge to Aria. Both have wonderful spas but I give Qua at Caesars slight edge there. The size of Caesars puts me off a bit and I don't care for the casino that much. Both have nice pools. It's really a toss up!

Stick with Aria. It's superior in nearly every way in my opinion.

Are you paying for your room at the Aria?

Overall, I believe that the Aria is the superior property when comparing it to Caesars. But, as previous posts have stated, I would go with the better offer.

If you and your friend plan on doing a bunch of gambling stick with your usual casino.
If you think you will be doing more touring than gambling try the different casino for a change.

I would take Caesars simply because it's right in the heart of the action of the center Strip.

I have not seen Octavius rooms, but I have stayed in Augustus, which is most likely the nicest hotel room I have ever had.

I would keep aria unless caesars made you an offer you cant refuse. aria is a nicer hotel/casino and the general crowd seems be better at mlife properties vs. cet. quality of the octavious room isn't better than aria's. I have stayed at both, its nothing special.

Seriously??!! I have NEVER noticed "nicer: crowds at Mlife properties--what a joke. Degenerates are everywhere.

I agree the rooms are comparable. I do prefer Aria casino, but I wouldn't pay more to stay there as I can gamble & dine anywhere.

I'm usually at Mlife properties, so I'm sure that comment was meant with me in mind.
