Okay, this may be a really stupid question but I've never had to do this before.
When you valet park, is it okay to go find your own vehicle and get stuff out of your car if you have an extra set of keys?
We are hoping to valet for several days and not use the car, but we still want to store stuff and get other stuff out of the car during those days.
Example, we are staying two days on one property and one day on another. We'd like to keep the car in the first garage, but be able to trade our suitcases in for backpacks for the last day we stay in another hotel.
Anyone have any experience on this?
    Thanks in advance!

Only employees are allowed in the valet parking lot. They will have to retrieve your car for you to get anything out of it.

But you can always call your car up, do what you need to do right there, and have them take the car back. No problem. Just tip them!

Just for this reason I always have a red vest and a pair of black pants in my backpack to change into so I can just simply walk past them through the gate and get into my car.

Valet is in a somewhat secured area, for a reason. Self park would take care of this issue.
