Has anyone tried Absinthe? I know Sage at Aria has a Absinthe menu. Are there any other places that serve it? We are wanting to give it a try.

I tried it a couple times. It tastes like Sambuca to me. It's pretty cool with the spoon and sugar cube and ice water but I'm not a fan of it.

My friend had it at Gordon Ramsay Steak the night we were going to see the Absinthe show at Caesars two years ago. The sommelier did the whole light-up routine.

Doing Absinthe before going to see 'Absinthe'? That's pretty cool!

The licorice flavor was too much for me to enjoy, I tried it at the Downtown Cocktail Room.

I love myself a good sazerac (New Orleans Cocktail with Absinthe as a primary ingredient). I've definitely had them at Mandalay Bay. There's a place named boiler room that does craft cocktails. I think most well stocked bars are going to have some kind of absinthe around. The Peychaud's bitters are actually the hard thing to find.
