    hello,

another place we returned to last week was mickey finnz on fremont for the awesome chicken wings!

we got a wing appetizer and they split it half island style and half jerk and a side of their fantastic fries.

    to die for!

although it was blazing hot we were still able to eat on their patio and guess peoples weight when they got on the scale outside heart attack grill.

I used to go there for their fish & chips... served in a metal bucket with a ton of thick-cut fries. I gave up on 'em after 2 separate bad experiences. Once the fish was pretty over-cooked (fried too long) and was hard and a bit burnt tasting and the second time the opposite happened... the fish was still cold in the middle. Once, I did send it back, but the other time I just ate what I could as I was in a hurry.

I like the "feel" of the place and would return, because the several times I had fish & chips previous to these two occasions everything was fine.

The sports bar Rock & Rita's at Circus Circus has the best wings I've eaten in Las Vegas.

Thanks UTE, that is close to Palazzo and we may hit it this trip. I need to expose my daughters to a Hunter S. Thompson experience anyway. They should see the place.

Or you could drive into town with a trunk (and head) full of hallucinogens?

Holstein's @ Cosmo: many people like their burgers, but their strong suit, IMHO, are their buffalo wings.

I'll be enjoying some again over Labor Day weekend!!!
