I've been working on putting together a list of point multiplier days for our upcoming trip and I have a question for those familiar with Boyd properties. When they say for example "10X reels" do they truly mean only the older mechanical reel machines? If so I'm okay with that since I actually prefer to play those. At the end of the day I may end up playing whatever I feel like at the time anyway, but getting 10X points on one machine and not another could definitely influence how I feel, if you know what I mean. ;)

I'm pretty sure they mean all slot machines. It's just an old fashioned term they use.

They will give you a multiplier for 'reels' (penny machines, etc) and VP separately. VP is less. I've often rec'd 10x reels/5x VP. As a low roller, I'm sure others have done better. Can be quite lucrative.
