We dropped a few wineries and just added Hilliard Bruce. All I can say is I wish we'd found them sooner, which is almost silly because a winery friend has been chatting them up and we just about can make out the top vineyard from our casa. They are very Burgundian in the approach to Chardonnay -- Rombauerians need not apply -- and the Pinot program runs the gamut of expressions, with Pommard, Calera --- DRC????? -- and four or so Dijon clones. We'll be popping three different '11s when I meet up with the degens next week in Vegas!

If you like wine and you're ever through this end of Santa Barbara County, do yourself a favor and schedule a visit ... and let us know and we'll meet you there.

For the golf drinkers ... it's just over the hill from La Purisima.

Oops, that subject line should read ... Hilliard Bruce.

I think you'll like how each box is a different color.

May take you up on your offer! Have never been (but always wanted) to CA wine country! Would be fun to have someone "in the know" with! Will have to see if I can find Hilliard here in MN! Gail

Our particular version of California wine country is a bit different than up north, and that's all just fine. Don't think you'll find Hilliard Bruce back there as the production is pretty small, but if you have a good wine merchant most anything can happen!

looks like we (my business) have selected one of the H-B wines for a couple of our October wine clubs. More exposure for a good brand
