    My Trip Report

Four Nights at the Four Queens
    Three Nights at Flamingo and
    Two at Cosmopolitan

So there I was, in seat One F on a Spirit Airbus, giddy with joy and ready to embark on another action packed Vegas Vacation. (Or as action packed as two "mature" women with mobility challenges can make it.) ..........

That was a great report Blonde. Lots of good pics and fun graphics. You two really got around this time.

Sorry to hear of the food poisoning. I've only had it once (knock on wood) but thought I was going to die. It's amazing how fast and furious it comes on.

I always enjoy your reports. Thanks for sharing.

    I got back yesterday.

Would either of you write my trip report?

Great report, as usual. Did you ever figure out what might have made you sick?

    Thanks for reading and commenting.
I don't think there is any real way to tell what made us sick.
Kodi thinks it was Spice Market, I think it may have been the Aria buffet, or we just could have touched the same bathroom faucet and stuck our fingers in our mouths...ick. Who knows?

I always lick my fingers *before* using the faucets. It prevents issues like your unfortunate experience with 'Hurricane butt'.

Interesting trip report, I'm sorry you got food poisoning - it can take some time to recover, hopefully you were able to drink lots of fluid to feel better.

I always take comfort in attempting to find out the culprit of food illness. If food is to blame, it can be tricky to pin down the culprit based on time alone. Some bugs, such as the type you might get from mayo based salads or sandwich spread that sat out for too long, can produce symptoms within a few hours. Salmonella, (most common) and found in under cooked poultry and eggs, might take 12 to 24 hours to cause trouble. E. coli, on the other hand, which is often spread via uncooked vegetables, can take several days to incubate before illness sets in.
I suppose based on that it could have been - Flamingo, Spice Market or Aria buffet.

WOw that was a great read. i love your trip reports. Cute costume. I would have laughed too because it's so Vegas-appropriate. The food pics were enticing. Lucky that Mlife let you through for the restaurants--happy about that. Great hit at Luxor! I have the exact same opinion about the GO rooms. Beautiful and cozy rooms but those darn science-lab lights! And wow the cosmo rooms are gorgeous--I might have to stay there!

Great report! Just curious did any of the group have any problems at the downtown casinos because of costumes? Being thrown out etc?

What a fun trip report. Halloween is a great time in Vegas. You never know what you will see. I think the trip was packed with quite a bit. So sorry you contracted food poisoning. This would be terrible at any time but during a vegas vacation not so good. I always enjoy reading your reports. The Peppermill is quite a place. I am surprised you had not made it there before.

Nice report and great pics. Sorry about the sickness, that totally stinks. You make me nervous about trying the Aria buffet as we have a myVegas reward for it...eeeek! We are hoping to make it to EI for the ribs this time around. They look great! Thanks for sharing.

I enjoyed your trip report, lots of fun to read. So sorry you got food poisoning toward the end of your trip. Would have been a disaster if it happened earlier.

Food poisoning can happen everywhere, so we can dispel the notion that it doesn't happen at the high end places. Aria, of all places....:nono:

I liked your Halloween costume. Did you use real money? Did you stick the money in the machines after Halloween?:poke:

Thanks again for sharing your Vegas trip with us!
