My bride and I are all packed and ready to go for our first ever cruise. I wish it was to Vegas, but last time I checked Vegas wasn’t one of the ports-of-call on our itinerary. I’m sure we’ll wander in to the casino on board to see what it’s like. VMB wristband will be worn for luck/inspiration.

I’m excited about visiting some island nations. I’ve only been in two countries so far: U.S.A. and Iowa.:poke:

I’ve enjoyed two really nice lotto “wins” lately, so the bankroll for our mid-June (hopefully) return to Vegas is growing. But, the biggest blessings have been health and happiness for friends and family this year!

My son wanted me to share that his extra credit from his Vegas project propelled him to his middle school honor roll! (I had mentioned to him that a lot of you fellow Vegas lovers “had his back” when he was marked down for labeling Vegas on a U.S. map. He just wanted me to update you and thank you for your kind words/support.)

If the ship goes down I anticipate treasure hunters will scour the depths for the glittering beauty of my VMB wristband (similar to the “Heart of the Ocean” necklace from Titanic). Oh, and my final wish would be that Brad Pitt portray me in the movie.

I’m spending today playing in the snow with the minions—before we drop them off at the grandparents’ house for a week!

    Merry Christmas to All! :santa

    Sincerely,
    Richard

Merry Christmas Richard! Have a wonderful cruise. Will you be stopping in Aruba? It is my other happy place.

Have a wonderful cruise! I promise that if your ship goes down, I'll be on the phone with James Cameron to go retrieve your wristband. :wink2:

You'll love a Christmas cruise. Wifey and I do. They decorate the ships for it and the meals are even more over the top (if possible). And, you can't beat getting out of the snow and ice for a bit. Enjoy.

    Happy New Year, VMBers!

I made it home in one piece, thus freeing Mr. Pitt to pursue other roles. Please watch for my TR in the Non-Vegas TR thread in the coming days! It will include observations of on-board activities, my experiences in Grand Cayman and Jamaica, and a post-cruise tour through part of Miami Beach.
I hope 2016 finds you all happy and healthy!

    -Richard
