    Trips to Las Vegas:
Hello fellow Vegas addicts! This will be my first ever trip report, so bear with me. :)

The wife and I will be heading out for Vegas come mid May. This will be my 9th (?) trip out to Vegas and my wife's 5th. It will also be our first vacation and time away from our 5-month old, so we are very much looking forward to some relaxation. After our last trip last September we were feeling slightly burnt out with Vegas (mostly due to possible the worst streak of bad luck I've ever had), but a decent offer from Aria (comped up to 5 nights and a $250 resort credit) had us booking flights last night on a whim.

We will be flying out on Saturday afternoon (05/14) and landing in Vegas around 6pm. Usually we go with zero plan and end up gambling, drinking and eating until we pass out, but we've decided to take it a little slower than usual for our feet's sake and our bankrolls. We also have the advantage of having been enough to already know where and what we like and don't like. I am also extremely excited for the timing of this trip as we just sold our first house a couple weeks ago for a healthy profit. Our wallets will be a little fatter than usual going in. But I will be setting daily loss limits for myself to aid my attempts at self-control :rolleyes2:

    My brief itinerary so far:

    Day 1

    - Flight out of Jacksonville @ 2:30. Land in Vegas @ 6pm.
    - Towncar waiting at the airport
    - Probably check in @ ARIA around 7ish
    - Drop off bags, freshen up
    - Cheapish dinner – 550 Pizza? ARIA café? - Any other recommendations in the general proximity?
    - Gambling until were tired @ Aria/Bellagio

    Day 2

    - Room service breakfast - try and kill some express comps and resort credit
    - Morning gambling (light)
    - VDARA Spa for couples massages at noon and some soaking
    - Head over to Bellagio to walk through the gardens and have some nice coffee or cocktails
    - More gambling! – want to head across the street to Cromwell to show them some love for their respectable changes made to VP and Craps -
    - Back to room for refresh
    - Head to MGM Grand for dinner and show - I randomly made reservations at Fiamma; we've never tried it and it looked pretty good - any reviews? - After, were off to see Brad Garret do stand-up at, you guessed it, Brad Garret's Comedy Club
    - Gambling until we can't stay awake @MGM Grand – we plan on hitting the craps pit HARD

    Day 3

    - Zip line @ Rio - got the Groupon, why not?
    - SLS, Wynn/Encore, Mirage - gambling of course
    - Late Lunch somewhere at Mirage probably
    - Down to the Cosmopolitan
    - Back to the Stratosphere for the rides @ night
    - Freemont street
    - Back to Aria, will probably be ready to pass out

    Day 4

    - Checkout
    - Gamble or whatever else
    - Car for airport at 2pm
    - Flight back at 3:30pm

My goal is take cabs or Uber almost everywhere we go so we don't have to spend a day after we get back icing our feet. I really want to take it easy this trip and enjoy the spa and our meals. I seem to focus more on the tables and less on the atmosphere when I'm in Vegas. I want to take a deep breath this time and take it all in, not take the time for granted.

I will try and take a ton of pics and keep this thing updated as I'm there.
