    My Trip Report

We left at 630am turned around a half hour into flight cause of a cracked windshield. Southwest got us on another flight quick and we were in Vegas for noon. Rented a car for the week from Budget ($12 a day). Checked in to Caesars on a 3 night comp offer. Gave the lady $20 and got a room on 26th floor of Augustus tower. Had a jacuzzi tub. Very nice room.

Tuesday we ate lunch at Caesars buffet. Thought it was very good. Paid with comps. Dinner was at Serendipity 3. Seems expensive to me. $18 for a chili cheese dog and fries. Wife got grilled cheese and fries. We went to try the frozen hot chocolate but were too full. Again used comps. Walked around and saw Cromwell, Flamingo, O Sheas, the Quad and the Linq. Gambled and drinks at every place.

Wednesday we ate lunch at Green Valley Ranch (myvegas comp). was ok. Dinner was back at Serendipity 3. We split an entree and tried the frozen hot chocolate. Really liked the hot chocolate. Used comps. Also went to pinball HOF. Had a blast. My 3rd time there. Saw El Cortez for the 1st time. Played a little. Went to Container Park and walked around. Had some cheese popcorn.

Thursday we ate lunch at Bellagio buffet (myvegas comp). Very good. Dinner was at Flamingo food court. Not so good. We saw Vinnie Favorito. He was very funny. Rude and crude but funny. We got 2 free tickets but had to pay $17 each for a drink. And for $17 all we could get was well drinks. No Captain Morgan. Booo.

Friday we checked out and went and checked in the Aria. Had a beautiful corner suite on the 14th floor thanks to a friend that works in corporate offices. We were greeted with a bottle of champagne and chocolates. Ate lunch at Aria buffet (myvegas comp). Very good. Dinner was at 777 Brewery downtown. Very good. We drove out to Red Rock and did the driving tour around the Canyon. Very nice views. Also walked around downtown. Used most of our LVA coupons.

Saturday we ate lunch at Le Burger Brasserie. Not as good as I thought. Wasnt very hungry for dinner. Ended up at Monte Carlo food court. Watched alot of college football.

Sunday we got up and drove to Sams Town to meet some friends that live in Vegas. Watched the Saints finally get a win. Played at the bar the whole time the game was on. Won $100. Ate at the deli for lunch. Went to Paris buffet for dinner. Used comps. Not very good.

Monday met our friends at Ellis Island. Then went to Tuscany casino. Ate in the cafe. Pretty good. Went and saw SLS. Dealer uniforms are very strange in my opinion. Went to Arizona Charlies to watch Monday Night Football. Ate at the deli. Pretty good.

We gambled and drank pretty much day and night. Hit a Royal at Aria for $1000. Wife hit 4 dueces for $250 and 5 spot on keno for $400. I hit several sports parlays. We hit a few other small things. Overall had a great time. Went 7 days and only lost $1300. That included everything so not too bad. Im guessing tips alone we spent $600.

This concludes my 1st ever trip report.
