    My Trip Report

This trip has been in the works for a while now and it's here. I've been to Vegas who knows how many times and I have never gone for the first week of the NFL. Been looking forward to this for several years and will have a couple of good friends joining me for the festivities.

    The Players?:

Dirty Chones - DC will be there for three days. DC is getting married and I am putting him up and feeding him this trip as a lil bach send off. There will be no wild bach parties, strip clubs, hookers, or blow. That ain't my thing. I am incredibly happily married to a beautiful young lady that puts up with me going to Vegas whenever my heart desires.....I want to keep it that way. DC loves football and he's REALLY pumped up for the weekend. He's a big Texas Longhorn fan and actually went to the game last weekend. Needless to say he's on cloud nine at the moment. DC loves to gamble as well, but with a wedding on it's way in October his bankroll will be a firm 1k.

Madman81 - He's a young buck and is the hookah king. He also likes to sling it and will have a nice bankroll of 6k to work with. Not a big NFL fan, but a few hundred bucks on a side or total tends to change that in a hurry. MM will be in Sin City for 4 days.

Me (Mrjvegas) - As many of you know that have read a report of mine or two....I love to gamble when I hit Vegas and I do very little else. This trip will be slightly different with friends involved for the first 4 days. Will we gamble heavily? Sure, but not at my normal level.....until they leave that is. My bankroll will be the usual 10k. I thought about 20k this trip, but I have another trip coming up that I have to fund and don't want to jeopardize it.

    The accommodations and offers:

I will be at the Golden Nugget for 5 nights with $600 in freeplays, limo, reserved seating at Nugget Sportsbook, and food. My wonderful host also hooked up Madman81 with comped rooms as well. Dirty Chones will be staying in a suite at Golden Gate and might actually get bumped to one of the penthouses. My host said if it's available it's mine. Sooooo we shall see. My last two nights will be comped on the strip at Planet Hollywood. Not much of an offer 100 food and 60 in FP, but the room is supposed to be bad ass. (I think its $400 a night with a nice view....again we shall see)

    Plans/To do List:

    1.) Turn 10k into 100k (duh)

2.) Smoke Hookah and a lot of it.

3.) Avoid a first night disaster. I had a great first day my last trip and that is not the norm....

4.) Reservations at Vic and Anthony's....my treat. Love that place.

5.) Eat at a few more places within the Golden Nugget.

6.) Watch several football games both Saturday and Sunday......come out of the weekend of games on the positive side. I already have a few bucks on a parlay and the game tonight!

7.) Take more than 53 pictures.

8.) Hit Cosmo for 50k at the end of my trip......make em feel the pain of not sending me wraparound suite offers.

9.) Make Diamond in a day at Hollywood.

10.) Try Uber for the first time....any tips would greatly be appreciated.

11.) Last, but certainly not least.....how about a slot HANDPAY!!!!

That's a good enough "to do" list.

Have a great trip. Looking forward to tagging along.

Don't know the current Uber offers but it's very easy to sign up. Generally they offer the first ride for free. Consider Lyft as well. That should earn you another free ride.

Use the free rides for longer trips to save the most.

    Good luck.

Have a great trip, looking forward to lots of pics. Hope you make that 100K!

I used Uber for the first time last trip. Super easy, often the drivers were already at the hotel right after I ordered a car. It was only a problem at Mandalay Bay - hotel is unclear as to where the drivers' should pick up, casino level or beach level. Don't forget to tip the driver!

Well there has been a shocking development over the last 8 hours. DC is out.......He's got a nasty stomach bug or the case of the fiances. Either way he's out. Will be heading to the airport shortly to get this party started. Going old school on the in flight movie selection.
