    My Trip Report

So this was a short trip to Harrahs Reno to earn some TC towards 7*

It took me an extra hour to get here since I had to stop and deliver a box of chocolates to my former host at Red Hawk Casino who very kindly dug up an old W2-G so I could file my Dad's taxes. Don't take Hwy 49 to get from 50 to 80, it might be better to go to Tahoe and then to Reno.

I was going to deliver chocolates to my host, but he left early, oh well, another task for tomorrow. I am delivering chocolates to him and the Event Coordinator manager.

So,rather than take the chocolates back upstairs, I went into the high limit slot area and within the first 15 minutes I had hit 2 small jackpots on the $5 Pink Diamond slot machine.

OK, so I'm up about $1000 but I have only accumulated 200 TC. While winning money is important, accumulating TCs are about a tie with that. That is, unless I hit BIG like I did in January and got scared and "ran away".

So, I took a break and went up to the room. They had given me a Mini-suite. Not bad, and I did take pictures and will add them later.

So, I made 500 TC, which would earn a minor bonus. Still 2500 TC was my origina goal.

I went to the room to put $$$ away, keeping only my winnings.

Went down to the Diamond Lounge, it was quiet. Ate some snacks and had a drink, then went back downstairs.

Ended up eating at the buffet. Another life sustaining meal which I used RCs for. Didn't hurt much, as the buffet is only $20. I still have a s**tload of RCs left.

After dinner, I decided to go back downstairs and play. I ended up giving back most of my winnings, but spent $50 playing "Gods and Titans", and his two major bonuses. Made 1002 TCs. Good, got 1000 TC bonus. Decided to quit while I'm still up $500 or $600.

I'm in the room finishing the day's TR. I'm gonna take a shower and a nap. My plan will go according to what time I wake up. If I would still have time to make 2500TC, I'll go down and play. Hopefully, I'll sleep a little longer and be able to attack 2500TC in earnest tomorrow.

And is hasn't gotten much better overnight.

Made 1000 TC this morning before 10AM. I can leave now if I want.

I still have a couple of FP vouchers to use. Let's see how it is after lunch. . . .

    Day two and misc. ramblings.

Well, day two didn't get any better and I was "forced" to go a little over budget to make my second 2500 TC day.

The point why achieving Seven Stars is my primary focus is in understanding that, IMHO that 7* is a privilege that I feel is worth having at least once. I am not a player that as a regular occurrence would be at 7*, but I had a good start to the year adn set it as a goal.

I go to Las Vegas and Reno enough to want to enjoy the privileges, and since I'm gonna gamble anyway, why not gamble at one place (organization, such as CET) and reap the back end rewards?

There are some people that won't understand that statement, but those are the people that are not gamblers and complain about resort fees.

However, there is a certain segment of the gamblers that do understand it.

I'm now (2) 2500 TC days closer to that goal.

    Win some, lose some.

My host comped me dinner (no RC deduction) and I ate the all-you-can-eat sushi at Ichiban.

Hand made in front of you. Fish/rice ball size was about 3 or 4:1

Very, Very good meal. Played around a little More then decided to head upstairs for a nap before driving home.

I'm enjoying following along on your quest for 7*. How much longer do you think it will take for you to achieve it? Are you close?

I am about four 2500 TC days away. I could make it in the next 2 trips, if the bankroll holds.
