Our local casinos (Wendover, Nv) are now sending offers that multiply the comps by 5, 6, and 7 times depending on the days. As you can imagine, the points add up real fast and lots of them. The Peppermill corp owns the three larger casinos here and recently they have gone to the tier levels and RC (reward credits) similar to the CET system. Some weekends they offer 7X on Friday, 6X on Saturday, and 5X on Sunday for both slots and VP as well for the table game comps earned. I really don't know how much longer these kinds of promotions will last but we here are certainly taking advantage if possible when they are offered. The comp balances are going out of sight for RC's and now my friend is a tier level diamond player here, by comparison he's only at a gold level in Vegas's CET system. Hopefully my levels will quickly accelerate like his but I'm not sure how much it has since it was my first time a couple days ago. Have any of you ever seen these multiplier offers in Vegas?

Do not confuse comps with Reward Credits/point balance. You really have to see what they are worth to you in the long run.

Real comps (suites, fancy dinners, show tickets, limos) are still tied to theo.

I've asked this in the past and the response was no they don't have them in Vegas, at least not at the CET properties. They are common in AC. 10x has been going on almost weekly for several months now at all the CET casinos there and I just saw a mailer for 14x on New Years. It's a great way to build up a ton of RCs locally that you can use in Vegas.

This is absolutely the marketing effort of CET in AC. To differentiate themselves from the other AC casinos and from competition in areas such as PA., they build on the fact they are the only casinos in AC that have a presence in Vegas. And, by utilizing these promotions it makes them even more attractive to the occasional Vegas visitor. This keeps me loyal to CET in both AC and Vegas, and the reward credit multipliers and other promotions keep me from thinking about straying too much.

I guess I'm confused, can't you get rooms, dinners, etc. with reward credits?

Absolutely, nostresshere I think was referring to Tier Credits. reward credits can be used to buy almost anything at a CET property!

I was thinking about Reward Credits, but did not word my post well. (go figure?)

What I was referring to was a bit of the Title that says 5x,6x,7x comps. Though that is partly true, there are lots of comps that are tied to Theo vs just using RCs for stuff mentioned above.

Then again, the only comps some people get are rooms, and everything is paid via RCs. And they could be called comps.

    Is the mud clear now?

Pretty much, appears this low roller will just receive the basics. I Dont think I bet enough to make a difference with a casino host. Thanks for the input nostresshere

Reno has a 7x comp day coming up at the Peppermill. At the mgm we had all our food and all our room costs paid by a host, but in Reno they only comp rooms....at least at our level. So the extra.comps.come in very handy. Their express comps are way more generous than Vegas add 7x that and it really adds up. We would.normally.earn about 250 in a weekend. X7.and you talking 1500+. We will.have some extra after that weekend! Don't need it so much in Vegas.....
