Never had them at las vegas club so can't tell you how big they are, but it's an ok beer to drink, nothing great but for .50 you can't go wrong, it will get you drunk.

They seem pretty small. nice for ladies I suppose.

you can also get a regular sized beer for $1.

Does the LVC allow you to use an "ACG 2/1 Domestic Draft Beer" coupon on those 50 cent Hamm's ? Now, there's a bargain.

I was at the Plaza last year watching the best little whorehouse in Texas show and decided to step out to get a beer. The casino bar is right by the showroom so I asked if they had any specials and she said pints of Hamm's were $2 I believe. I thought what the hell, why not try it, I had been drinking all day so how bad could it be. Lets just say this, I doubt I would order another if given the option. It has a very odd taste that I wasnt accustomed too and back in college I drank everything from Natural light to Milwaukees Best. There is a odd sourish after taste to it, almost like a ferminted taste. I dont know exactly how to describe it, but hey for .50 a draft, give it a whirl! Ill stick with $2 coronas and Heinis DT for that price!

I had a few of these. I think the glass is either 8 or 10 ounces. They are not very big. Tasted fine, just like they did back in my college days.

Is that a bottle or draught?
Also how many oz in a regular bottle?
    Cheers again!

If you want a beer real bad, Hamms is a real bad beer.

Here is my thought on beers I drank in college, they were usually cheap and made usually in a 30 pack for like 9.99. The main reason for drinking them wasnt because they were delicious, but more for the affordability/$ per ounce factor. Thats been about 20 years ago and I feel like ive outgrown that just a bit, I can afford a decent beer now and only happened upon the Hamm's by chance. Being in a hurry to get back and half crocked, it seemed like a good idea. Alot of things seem like good ideas in Vegas though! ;)

I liked the Hamms mostly for the nostalgia factor. I'm a good 20 years plus out of college so I was curious if it would taste as I remember it. I guess it did. Plus not everyone has Hamms available.

Overall the beer situation has improved in LV but for the most part most places still have the same lame selection of beers to choose from when you're playing. It's like a Heineken or a Newcastle are the best you can do unless you're somewhere like the MSS where they can get you the microbrew.

Life may be too short to drink bad beer, but not when I'm playing cards and wanting to get drunk.

Just shotgun a 6 pack of Bud, a 6 pack of Miller, and a 6 pack of Coors, by then you won't give a hoot about the flavor or quality of the Hamms.:drunk:

Hamms is really really bad beer. I love to drink beer, and I'd rather stay sober than drink a Hamms.

I had drank probably 8-10 Heines the day I had that hams, that very well may have been why it tasted so odd. But still, I think I would rather drink Miller light than that, I dont think I had ever had a Hamms before that night. ON par with PBR if you ask me ;(

For cheap beer in downtown I would say MSS. The micro brew for the price can't be beat. Any of the Boyd properties always had good drink specials...like cheap Corona lol.

I had one there back in October. Probably a 10oz plastic cup. It was ice cold and not bad at all IMHO.

I'm not a beer drinker, so can't comment on the taste. I grew up in Montana and they had the absolute best tv commericals.....that Hamms Bear could do just about anything! Always made me laugh and I am smiling even now when I think about it.

"Hamm's the beer refreshing, Hamm's the beer refreshing.... Hamm's!"

Back in the day I had one of those "Sky Blue Water" beer signs, where it looked like the water was actually moving.
