Ok, my wife thinks she wants to see this when we come to Vegas next month even though she's never read the books or watched the movie. She thinks it sounds funny.

I'm not sold on it, and I just wanted to get a little feedback if anyone has any here. I looked online and the theater looks incredibly small, so if you do recommend the show, any tips as to where to sit?

Like I said, I'm really unsure on this one and just want some feedback on if this is worth our while. The reviews online aren't overly helpful for me as there aren't a lot and they seem very divided.

Me too! We will be arriving on Sunday, my wife saw the advertisement and said it looked good. I just don't know if it's worth watching, don't want to leave in the middle.

Fflowers and I went to this show the week of July 4th using the Diamond comped tix. For the record, we both enjoyed the movie, so it certainly wasn't the subject matter that was the issue. This show was the closest thing I've seen to a high school play since my kids were in school. The showroom is incredibly small, no problem for us as there's not a bad seat. A few of the opening songs were funny. The singers are good. But we were bored stiff within 10 minutes and left in between acts after about 20 minutes.

IMO this show was a total waste of time and I certainly wouldn't recommend paying to attend, regardless of how inexpensive the tickets are. Really sorry to be so negative, I honestly don't require much to be entertained (I'm from a small town) but this was painful.

BTW the Country Superstars show is at Bally's now and the TR desk was giving out free tickets for that night's show to anyone who asked, as long as they had tickets left. I was picking up my freeplay voucher around noon and they offered them unprompted. I guess they are trying to fill the theater until the show is more established. We already had plans for that night so I didn't take any, but they did say to return the following morning if I was interested in going the following night. Thought I would mention this since we were on the topic of shows at Bally's!

My 70YO DM & I saw it last month--we found it HILARIOUS. Very very raunchy (unless you have been under a rock, you realize this book was basically porn for women--we had both read the series ;-) If you aren't comfortable with the book content, you won't be comfortable here--it is a parody, but definitely involves specifics of the book! (did not see the movie--just figured there was NO way to do it justice with an R rating...)

Will be taking DH on our next trip.

If you are looking for a sexy show--try X Burlesque or possibly Fantasy.

Zumanity is a raunchy, funny, sexy, push the envelope Cirque show.

Absinthe is similar without the sexy.

Thanks for the tip about Country Superstars--we are looking for another show!

Really glad you enjoyed it! We didn't AT ALL, but that's why there are so many shows available... to each his own! Hope you score the free tickets!!
