Does anyone know if the 5% freeplay offer for ATM withdraws is still going at El Cortez? I did this last time for the $50 max. It's a great promo but I didn't stick around after running it through so I guess the other concern is if they will let me do it again even if it is still running.

Yes it is still offered. I just had a friend spend Christmas and New Years in Vegas. They went to El Co and got their 5% bonus. I have not heard of this ending anytime soon.

Yes. I did it a few weeks ago.

They say you must earn a thousand points (someone please confirm or correct) in the previous month to take advantage of this 5% offer. If they hold me to this requirement, I will be ineligible next trip.

I think that applies if you want to use that offer for a second time.
The first time is free and after that you have to earn 1000 points before to be
    eligible again.

Planning on taking advantage of that offer next trip.

Remember also that the ATM is going to charge you $3.75 (I think) service charge. So if you want to split hairs, you won't get your 5%, slightly less. Not sure if that would stop me from taking advantage of this offer though...

I modified my withdrawal limit so I could take full advantage. I got the $50 - whatever the ATM fee was. I had $70 after running the freeplay and cashed out so it was nowhere near 1000 points. I'm guessing we could do it again and use my wife's club cortez card this time.

When I used the ATM at ElCo last month I was charged $3.50.

Plus, I have a savings account with Schwab Bank. They automatically refund ALL ATM fees at the end of each month. Pretty sweet deal.
