    My Trip Report

This is my first trip report so please bare with me. This was a different trip as I brought along my whole family and that included my wife and 2 boys (8 years and 8 months) My 86 year old dad, my sister and her family and my other sister. This was the very 1st family vacation we have all taken together and probably our last :confused2: . Not many pictures as I had my hands full trying to get everyone going in one direction. We arrived in Vegas around 2 and took a limo to Monte Carlo, check in was a non-issue and we were able to get all 4 rooms on the same floor and just a few doors between each. My gambling budget just a bit over 7k and no chip porn as I was swimming up hill the entire trip but still fun! This is my father and sister faking an injury just so he wouldn't have to pay for "earlybird" check in, he is too funny and cheap. This is going to be a pretty quick TR as we pretty much stayed at the hotel for most of the trip. We stayed in a basic room and overall the hotel was fine for what we had going on. My b-day was on the 4th and we rented a cabana for the occasion.

The 2nd day of the trip which was my b-day we spent entirely at the pool. Here is my nephew thinking he is a bad ass. The MC pool is small however the lazy river is fun and the wave pool is pretty tame. The drinks and food at the cabana come from the pub so it was pretty good. I came down to the pool on Friday and it was jam packed with lots of booty shaking contests and drunk people. Next time we will leave the kids at home and party it up.

Friday we had breakfast at Mon Ami Gabi as this is a tradition of my wife and I. As always the food and service was spot on with maybe the highlight being my brother in laws cinnamon pancakes. I had my usual and it once again did not fail me the croquet madam really just a fancy ham and cheese with egg but done to perfection.

That night we ate at Carmines at the Forum Shops we order the fried calamari and the anti past plate and both were delish and rather large. The whole concept of this is place is family style dining and portions are huge. I didn't partake in dinner itself as I was making up for some lost drinking time! Later that night we ending up at ignite bar at MC as we got a stack of free drink coupons that were burning a hole in my pocket. Here is a pic of my sister and brother in law both looking a bit drunk and a pic of myself and wife.

Saturday was talk off day so we lunch at Bobby's Burger Palace and it was good as expected. The price of the burgers were surprisingly inexpensive compared to some of the other burger places we have tried in the past. Like I said a pretty quick and un-eventful family trip. Overall for the trip I was down about 1k. I did get my 3 nights and some room charges taken care of it was a productive trip. Would I bring my kids to Vegas again... I don't know but the wife and I starting to plan her b-day trip in October!
