Was in Vegas Jan 17 thru 23rd and hit 4 shows in a row ~ pics attached

Flew out of Calgary at 7:10 pm MST and landed at 930pm Jan 17, was late flying out by 45 mins or so !
had hoped to check into Harrahs (comp'd Jan 17/18th nights) and head to Tommy Rockers , a local joint off strip but never made it ...

Sunday Jan 18- Saw Styx at the Palms Casino ~ They were amazing , played their standard hits , a show full of energy and fun! ~ used groupon tickets

Monday Jan 19,- Raiding the Rock Vault at the Tropicana Hotel! This was an amazing show~ I had seen it in Feb 2014 back at the Westgate , then LVH...... still an amazing show~ story of Classic Rock , thru the eyes of two Roadies, all songs are performed by those who have Rocked it! ~ Songs start with the Who's ~ My Generation and ends with Van Halens JUMP ~ 2 hrs of solid rocking! I bought the RockStar Package via the website, and did a meet n greet with the cast before the show~ I had stage side seats and got serenaded by Robin Mc Auley from McAuley Schenker Group (MSG) , Survivor ..... I had been turned around , waving at some local fans , whom I had met before the show for drinks, and one of them snapped my pic, unbeknownst to me , Robin had snuck up behind me while singing Free's All Right Now~

Tuesday Jan 20 - Elton John at Caesars ~ bought tickets thru the website, was up on 2nd balcony , view was awesome ~ He played everything from Tiny Dancer to Saturday Nights all right for fighting .......2 hrs of solid hits; some of the front rows were privvy to get up on stage during Saturday night's allright for fighting......His piano has LED lights, that match and synchronize to the back drop behind the band ...... I had seen him in Calgary in the late 1990's but this was so different! The set design was amazing and spectacular

stayed at NY NY Jan 19/20th ~ nice hotel , caught some of the duelling piano's

Wed Jan 21~ Australian BeeGees at the Excalibur~ bought thru Tickets4tonight kiosk~ very good tribute show to the BeeGees ~ I had seen the actual BEEGEES in 1977 and these guys did them proud! played a lot of old old hits from the 60's to right up into the 80's ~ was a fun night~ our seats were kinda cheesey, right at the entrance but we moved to a front table , with no problems as not completey full ...

Wed/Thurs evenings we stayed at the Super 8 on Koval, right next to Super 8 and finally tried the steak special! YUM~ they had karaoke night each night , some good , some bad lol

All in All had a great trip , was all about music and meeting up with new friends :)
Gambling was so so Food was good except for Raffles in Mandalay Bay , was very disappointed in my sandwich!

    Can't wait til next trip!
