    My Trip Report

This trip was back in April but never had a chance to post! My wife and I decided to take a break and celebrate our 2nd anniversary in Vegas. I was only able to convince her to go because Alicia Keys was performing that weekend. Shes not much of a gambler, nor does she drink/party (anymore at least), but at least we'd be headed up and any excuse I can get I'd certainly take.

    Friday
The drive up from So Cal was fast- no traffic at all since we left at 9am. Checkin at Paris was smooth in the diamond room, got a nice large room facing the Bellagio fountains. Best view Ive ever had. We relax a bit and head over to Aria since we havent been there yet, and I thought the architecture was amazing being in that field. Walking through areas with guys drilling nails does kinda suck though.. The inside is kinda dark which annoyed me, took me a bit to find the craps table-- My GAME!

I buy in for $500 playing Playing pass line and an occasional dont come. Numbers start to hit - for some reason women shooters do really well for me. Pressing and pressing after each hit an Im up double my buy in. My turn to shoot and I max odds on all my numbers- bam! Seven out. Oh well walk away up roughly $200. It was also nice to hear the wifey up $60 on penny slots!

The Alicia Keys concert started at 8pm, missed the opening acts except for a little of Robin Thicke. Alicia was awesome, she looks even hotter in person! I was never really into her music bu after that, I can say I am a fan.
Afterwards head back to Paris and bought in at a $10 craps table and after an hr of max odds on the pass line, Im up another $100 after being up $300 at one point but whatever, Im up something. Call it a night after too much drinking/gambling. More to come for an eventful Saturday... Time for bed

    Saturday

Sleep in until 10am, finally get a good nights sleep. We walk over to PH and eat at Earl of sandwich. That's gotta be one of my favorite places to grab a sandwich, I recommen it to anyone who hasnt been there yet. So off goes the wifey to do some shopping at Miracle mile shops and I head to the craps tables- I hate shopping. I play for roughly 2 hrs (my wife can shop forever) and come out even playing $10 tables on the pass lines. Up to this point I havent hit any numbers and end up blowing any wins on my awful rolls. Afterwards we head back to Paris, rest up, shower and get ready for dinner.

My wifes always wanted to eat at this Serendipity restaurant, mostly because of that John Cusack/Kate Beckinsale movie. We head over to Caesars (where the restaurants at), and have a nice meal, topped off with a frozen hot chocolate. Damn that was good! Fully stuffed we walk along the strip towards Paris and decide hey, its only 10pm, lets swing by Flamingo for the hell of it. Ive always had good luck in there and buy in $500 at a $10 craps table while the wifey plays some penny slots.
This was probably the bes run Ive ever had at craps as each max bet hits before my roll. When te dice finally come around to me, I was pretty damn drunk, only to go on a 4 consecutive point roll! In craps, theres this "fire bet" you can do before the first roll which pays something like 25:1 if 4 points in a row are hit. Problem was they have to be 4 Different #s!!! I hit the 9 twice which negated the huge payout. Oh well a wins a win.
I proceed to color out And they give me several chips one of which being a yellow chip!!!
At this point with my hazy accounting Im up a little over a Grand (excluding tips, food, a couple of wins/losses at slots and roulette, etc). The closest big score Ive had was coming up around $500 on the dont pass line, but playing dont pass is pretty boring and doesnt really guarantee any wins even with the odds of rollin a seven are in your favor. Anyways back to the yellow chip hehe, Taking a picture of it on my phone seemed like a good idea to do in my drunken state but somehow decided not to, which was a good idea in case someone saw me do it while stumbling around, which would make me a great target to mug right outside the casino- thatd suck!

I finally find the wifey with a huge smile, saying she hit a bonus jackpot at the Reel em In for $500+! I play penny slots to kill time sometimes and I cant imagine hitting for that much, thats crazy. We head back to paris and I end up losing $100 at craps after being up $200 for the session. Still, a very good day.

    Sunday
We wake up early to head back to So Cal, big smirks on our faces. Usually the drive home is tiring, depressing, among other feelings, but not this time. Unfortunately we gotta pay bills, throw money in the bank. In our earlier days before a house, we wouldve booked flights to Hawaii that night hehe.

All in all, a great relaxing trip, nothing crazy, always a plus to win like that. Im a low roller ($700-1000 weekend bankrolls) so coming home $1000+ was awesome!! The craziness will return Memorial day weekend for a dual bachelor party, will be staying in a comped room at Monte Carlo, with about 12 guys comin up spread around in 2 other hotels... Im sure that trip report will be crazier than this one!! Til the next report, hopefully didnt bore anyone
