Will be staying at the 4 Queens next Wednesday (6/27). I saw that The Reflex is a band playing on the 3rd Street Stage that night and was wondering if anyone has seen them and if it is worthwhile to check them out. We'll be ready to party and we like listening to live music, so I'm thinking we'll check it out. Thoughts are appreciated!

I'm here for the FSE concerts this weekend (particularly for Night Ranger on the 22nd). I've not caught The Reflex yet - but I'll give my 2 cents...

In my opinion, the cover bands brought into FSE are impressive. Whomever books for the stages obviously does their job well. So, I'd be surprised if you walk away disappointed.

What I do know about The Reflex is they are from the East and the band does covers of all the major 80's hits from groups like Blondie, Duran Duran, the Go-Go’s, Flock of Seagulls... yada yada.

It says something that FSE has The Reflex playing the main 3rd Street Stage. That's the big one used for headliners and it has a powerful sound system. On any given night, it's considered an honor to have the main stage during prime time. Lesser acts get the small stages.
