    My Trip Report

My beautiful wife (G) and I are less than an hour away from a quick, one-night venture to Harrah's Cherokee. We thought about visiting the new Harrah's which, I hear, is about 40 minutes closer to the ATL, but I had a free night stay and a $25 free play coupon so we will see the new place another time. Our good friends (J & T) are meeting us there around lunch and staying until about 10:00 p.m. and driving back. We will head back tomorrow morning about 8:00 a.m. This will be my seventh overall trip to Cherokee. I did a live TR for my fifth trip there...will do my best to keep this one live the whole time.

Good luck. We've been tempted to check out Cherokee but every time I check the weekends seem crazy expensive.

Yeah, all my previous trips have been day-trips but the free weeknight was timely and convenient.

Yep ATL residents still want to gamble, that's for sure.

    Good luck Spivderman!

Yes, weekend rates are usually high. Due to HIGH DEMAND. Regular players can usually get rooms though.

The new casino is more available roomwise - mainly because it only has some fast food places for meals. Nice casino, but that is a deal breaker for us. I have stopped in their twice to play off some freeplay coupons on the way to the original Cherokee.
