2016 Fremont Street Summer Concert Series Announced - 2016 Rock of Vegas

    The eighth annual summer concert series begins Saturday of Memorial Day weekend with Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. Things get very crowded, but you can always find space watch a few songs with drink in hand and celebrate the summer on Fremont Street. There are typically live entertainment every night, with added headliners in the Summer and major holidays.

    2016 Schedule:

    May 28 – Joan Jett & The Blackhearts – 3rd Street Stage

    June 11 – 3 Doors Down – 3rd Street Stage

    July 2 – Cherry Poppin’ Daddies – 1st Street Stage

    July 23 – Robby Krieger of The Doors – 1st Street Stage

    Aug. 6 – Vertical Horizon – 1st Street Stage

    Aug. 20 – Melissa Etheridge – 1st Street Stage

    Sep. 3 – Smash Mouth – 3rd Street Stage

    2009 = Summer of '69:

    That 2014 line up would have been great to see! I will be in Vegas Memorial Day weekend and want to catch a song of Joan Jett but I'm sure it will be VERY crowded.

    I saw ABC in 2011, Puddle of Mudd in 2013 and Kansas / Blue Oyster Cult in 2015. Was in Vegas but unable to get to the Howard Jones concert. Would really have liked to have been in town for the Everclear/Soul Asylum show in 2014. Blood Sweat and Tears, The Guess Who and The Grass Roots would have been cool as well, even without Creed Bratton.



    Joan Jett's show will be very crowded indeed.
