I just got a mini offer for one free night, $50 FP and a 2 for 1 cravings buffet.

It fits my time in Vegas in Oct. but since I will be alone, I wondered if anyone has experience with getting ONE buffet at half price with an offer like this?

You can try but I wouldn't count on it.

The Mirage is pretty strict with this coupon. I have tried unsuccessfully (on several trips) to use it for 50% off one person. I have successfully found another single in line and split it with them (and even split up and sat alone with our server's permission) .... the time my server said "no", he got no tip from either of us.

I have been successful at other places (Rio, etc) but I have never heard of anyone getting to use it as 50% off for one person at Mirage.

If it doen't have a name on it, you could at least swap it out with a couple in line for money on a single admission. It would cost you zero that way to get in.
