I'm thrilled with the flower arrangements in the hotel lobbys, has anyone seen the designers on site working with the flowers. I've been designing for 34 years and would love to "lend a hand" the days I'm in town. Does anyone know the local florist that does the inside work?

I've never seen anyone working on displays but when I think of hotels that actually have live flowers, they tend to be ones I expect to have onsite staff to create them.

I was at the Bellagio in June and they were changing over some of the almost dead flowers for fresh, new ones. I remember reading a couple different articles that the work is all done in house. For instance the Conservatory at the Bellagio has a head horticulturist and the workers and florists are Bellagio employees, I could be wrong but I'm pretty certain about it.

This is true about the Bellagio. Not sure about the other luxury properties though.

Yeah I don't know about the others either, I would imagine most of the others are similar too.

I wouldn't be surprised if Wynn/Encore has florists. It wouldn't surprise me if every other property outsources to local florists to handle their flower displays on a weekly basis.

I've seen the gardeners doing their thing in the Mirage Atrium several times.

The M says they put out fresh lilies in their check in area everyday. The smell is amazing in that place.

There is always an exquisite arrangement in front of the art gallery at the Bellagio. It is huge and on a round table so you can walk all around it. Don't miss that one.
