I can't believe how inept the ticket writers at The Cosmopolitan are. The first time I went there I had mistakes on my tickets and the second time the guy almost refused to take my bets because I had parlays that involved multiple sports. He needed me to give the name of the sport to him before every number and it seemed like he had to go to that sport's page to enter that number. It must have taken ten minutes to get 5 bets in.

Also, I wanted to get some updated lines and was directed to some sheets that hadn't been updated in a week. Nobody bats an eye at LVH when you request a current print. I'm not a big fan of the Cantor books but they did have some bets that others weren't offering and I didn't have any problem at the Venetian- just seems like its not much of a priority at Cosmo.

Welcome to Cantor Gaming! I'm not a big fan at any of their locations

You've just identified two places that are polar opposites when it comes to sportsbooks. Cosmo is definitely a place where the sportsbook is an amenity (i.e., it's offered because it's an expected part of the casino experience, but they don't really care about it). LVH is probably one of the premiere sportsbooks in the city.

Is their app worth it? I plan to be in lv for the Super Bowl and it'd be awesome to avoid the long lines that are sure to be present.

Cantor also does the Palms right? A couple years ago I asked for the current o/u win totals on NFL a few days before the start of season and the printout was all seperate tickets..Strange...Ask the same thing at the Gold Coast and it's an easier to read maybe 2 foot long continuous ticket...

Yep, me either. The V/P books don't feel right at all...more like a school study hall with those cubicles and disinterested ticket writers.

I have placed three bets at The Cosmo and each time it was a chore.

I don't play much sports but sometimes horses. Cosmo sports book did not look appealing at all. Almost looked like an afterthought off out of the way.
