    Hi all,

Found this site yesterday and figured that I would create an account and come say hi.

My name is Twan Trienekens from Eindhoven, The Netherlands and am 33 years old. Married with Judith (31) and both are Vegas fans.
In just under 8 weeks we will be going to Vegas for the 6th time.

First time was in 2004, when we came through town during our West-Coast vacation for the 25th anniversary of my parents. Stayed at the Riviera for 2 nights and we already knew that we would be back some day, but probably not at the Riviera.

Second time we was in 2009, also passing through and staying at the Mandalay Bay for 3 nights in a spa room. Went to downtown one night and both of us fell in love with the atmosphere there and decided next time we would stay downtown.

Third was in 2010, when we had a fun vacation devided between Orlando and Vegas. Arrived Monday in Orlando, flew to Vegas on Friday, flew back on Monday night, and stayed in Orlando till Friday. Our stay in Vegas was at our newest favorite hotel the Golden Nugget. Booked thru Priceline, we got a good deal on the Carson tower rooms. Absolutely love the pool area and the close proximity to several different casino's. And the strip is still only a short capride away.

Fourth time was 2011 we flew in from our Eastcoast vacation to meet up with friends in Vegas. Stayed with them in the Planet Hollywood for 2 nights, then moved to Golden Nugget for another 3 nights in de Rush Tower.

Last year we decided to stay an entire week in May in Vegas to celebrate our first anniversary there. As we are both pool fanatics we decided to split the stay between Golden Nugget Rush Tower (4 nights) and Mandalay Bay (3 nights).

This year 2014 we will once again be on the East Coast driving around, and then flying over to Vegas for a long weekend of fun. And ofcourse, staying again at the Golden Nugget Rush Tower. Can't wait.

I don't expect to post much, but will be reading and occasionally might join a discussion.
    Cheerio.

    Welcome to the board.
We love Vegas but we've also spent a lot of time in Orlando (we can drive to Orlando, 5.5 hours).

You mention East Coast driving, have you been to St Augustine, Florida?

Hey there, we will land in Boston and drive around until Thursday the 9th, when we need to be back in Boston for our Friday morning flight to Vegas.
The idea is to go to Montreal, Niagara and back to Boston, but only if the weather forecast is good. We haven't booked any hotels yet, so we'll go wherever we want to go as long as the sun is out :) Who knows, we might end up in Florida...

Never been to St Augustine yet, but have been in Miami, Orlando, Tampa etc. Still lots more to go see there.
