I stayed there one night years ago, when it was part of Mirage/MGM properties.

I think there is a stand alone slot club?

Are the rooms better than Mirage?

They have some great prices, alot less than Mirage, w/2fers and other stuff.

Yes on the stand-alone slot club. Will leave it to other VMBers to talk about the rest.

    slots program: Stand Alone, yes.

Rooms: Haven't stayed at mirage, but severaly doubt it. TI lost their Four Diamond Rating while Mirage still has it.

Stayed there last summer Room was nice and fresh, casino had a good vibe as well as good drink service. I would stay there again but my girlfriend thought the pool to be a bit on the small side and crowded.

The players club is stand alone and they are pretty free with comps. I am getting flooded with offers for 2 nights, 50 FP and 50 FB. I was there 3 weeks ago to redeem a $30 no stay FP. FYI this is based on a low rollin' 3000 coin in over a week.

Beds at TI are not quite as comfortable as Mirage, but you will find more spacious bathroom at TI. Mirage hallways seemed to have a funny smell, and not as "clean" as TI. As stated before, yes they have their own slot club. I've found cocktail service to be pretty good.

I was there in March and was very happy. I think the value is quite good. I prefer TI to Monte Carlo and Ballys.

Bartop VP at TI last time I checked was horrendous, even worse than CET props. I think I saw some 6/5 honestly. I try to pop in there more as it really does seem like the option that is starting to get ignored by many, but I have a tough time with the strong vanilla/coconut smell pumped in the air (and I love the smell at Venetian).

Nonethless, the rooms look nice and the prices are generally good. They also have an optional resort fee if i can recall.

Two quads at TI in June, and it's a great place. Beds and rooms are extremely comfortable. And the $20 trick works here, so ask for an upper floor strip view.

We'll be arriving in 2 weeks, I'm already disappointed the Sirens Show has closed. If the $20 trick doesn't work I'll feel like a failure in my efforts to show my friends the TI that I love.

Does anyone know more about TI waiving the resort fee? I am thinking about using TI as an option to CET, especially since TI is longer MiLife.
I plan on picking up a new TI card as well as e-mail preferences.
But is the resort fee waived across the board if that's your option?

Last time I stayed there, in 2012, you had the option to waive.

It's only an option if you book an offer that states that you can waive the fee.

I think that means every casino offer and only a few of the "internet" offers you can find if you dig around.

We like the place. It's not overly nice, but they are very generous with offers of rooms and freeplay and a few of the room views are amazing.

I stayed at TI last fall and agree with many of the comments: it's basic but serviceable. The rooms are well maintained and clean. We had a great view of the strip. The casino is fine but didn't have great energy or atmosphere. We ended up gambling elsewhere due to a lack of excitement. Didn't try any of the restaurants--again, nothing seemed all that interesting. The place has been de-themed to the point where it basically no longer has an identity, but it works just fine as a clean, comfortable place to stay.

I am still irked by some punk(security) 21-22 years old insisting on "carding" me when I entered Gilley's about 6 pm at night. I am in my 60's. Gilleys does not attract many people and the food is marginal at best.

Otherwise I think the rooms are good enough, renovated about 5 years ago, the pool maybe on the small side but big enough for me with ample sunny areas, and shaded areas. I like the buffet. Kahaunaville leaves a lot to be desired as far as food.
In general, the location is great considering the casinos around it and the fashion show mall.

Thanks. I'll stop by TI when i go in August and get a card. I'll see what they say about waiving the fee for a future stay. I am a CET guy and booked through 2014, but depending on what i get comped at CET and what TI offers me without the resort fee, i may switch up. I'm not a MiLife guy, which is why i might consider TI if i can get the resort fee waived, otherwise no deal.
I used to stay at Treasure Island back when it first opened a couple of times.

I stayed here in May and I thought it was a nice hotel and the casino was good as well, I thought my room good and the bed was comfy, I got a players card as well and they do e mail from time to time with offers so certainly on the list of possible hotel's for my October stay.

just booked the TI for December with a email offer that had the option to waive resort fees, so you might want to go to their website and sign up for email offers, stayed there last summer great place, nice rooms but glad i can bypass the resort fees this time around

I think T.I. has lost it's coolness over the years. I've stayed there more than once, but just like the volcano at Mirage, the pirate show was really what made you want to stop and see the place. I dont get the Gilley's tie in at all, and when I was there in December, the lake in front was dry and there were tables and chairs in it. Last week, they at least had water in it. I'm not sure about the rooms now, but when I stayed there, we got a small suite and it was really nice.
