Plenty of water from the vending machine, long showers and lots of rest... One time I did 45 mini shots at Sahara - a buck a shot and you got to keep the shot glass.I built a pyramid at the bar with them as the night progressed.

my drunkest experience was about 10 years ago with my brother-in-law... the next day I had to look through a pile of receipts, casino chips, stripper ads, crumbled bills of various denominations and a BMW key (neither of us drive a BMW) to try and piece together what happened the previous night... I survived that massive hangover by: aspirin, alka-seltzer, water and sleep.... of course this was day 2 so it started all over again about 5pm after we gave the key to lost and found...

The first (and only) Vegas trip with my GF. We had been dating for 2 years or so and she was not into gambling at all and didn't know how much of a gambler I was. It was our first trip together where a casino was involved. She was a bit hesitant about going to Vegas in the first place because of the whole "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" thing. She was expecting a cesspool of humanity. The first night we did the nice bf/gf dinner and walked around a bit. After that I wanted to go to the casino and she came with me for a little while (it was probably around 10 pm or so) she got extremely bored after like 15 minutes and went up to bed. I told her I was going to stay a while. I stayed and played, and drank, and played, and drank.... I go up to the room around 4 am and she is in bed crying. She had no concept or understanding that I could have been down playing BJ the whole time and thought I was up to something much less acceptable. When I convinced here that yeah, I was actually playing cards the whole time she went from upset to mad.

What seemed like 8 seconds later, it was actually 7 am or so (I don't really remember but it was very early) she was up and woke me up and told me in no uncertain terms that she wanted to go to the pool and that I was going with her. I knew that was not the time to tell her that I was still drunk/hungover/wanted to sleep more. I dragged my ass out of bed and went to the pool. We were staying at the Venetian and there was no shade and I was dying. I think I would have preferred to be in a Turkish prison at that point but I toughed it out.

That was 10+ years ago and we are still together and now she gets my gambling. She doesn't care how long I play as long as it doesn't interfere with her plans.

I was so hammered once at the Flamingo that I passed out on the floor of the race book. Two security guards got me up and asked where I was staying. Gave them my room keys, handed them a $20 and told them to throw the keys on the dresser counter. I've NEVER done that again.

Oh lordy, those buffoons know how to pour. I'm more drunk with them than at any other time in my life, including college! :wink2: Okay, maybe not college, but I do recall once sitting on the tile floor of the entry to the suite at Cosmo, rubbing my face and wondering how I got so drunk. :haha:

Sleep, hydrate, good food, more sleep, hair of the dog, rinse, repeat.

I threw up over the video poker machine, myself and the floor at my buddy's bar in April after a day of drinking followed by about 15 shots of fireball. Got back to my friends' hotel room about 7 am. The missus found me walking around the hall with my dick hanging out at about 11.30 when she came to collect us. She's still not seen the funny side as it goes.

2010, jeigermeister shots at Toby Keiths and huge draft beers. Somehow made it across street to Caesars. I stopped and took several breaks. I stopped in the Casino and played let it ride, (I think) bet a $25 chip and won $75, dealer stopped me, said I was too drunk. Walked towards room and got followed to Augustus tower by a hooker, followed me all the way to my room. I gave her $10 to put my room key into the door so I could get in. My friends tried to wake me up a couple hours later when they got in room and couldn't. I fixed the hangover the next day with half a Phenegran. Fun times! I do recall seeing a guy come out of Margaritaville and miss every step and face plant on the sidewalk. I felt much better, I knew I was doing better than at least someone.

My girlfriend and I were staying at The Mirage and we both enjoy the tie one on once in awhile. We were in Vegas for the second time and the newness of the city was still fresh.

The day started out with beer and shots every few minutes...and we casino hopped for the entire day repeating the process in each one...a couple shots and a couple beers and on we went to the next one. We even got those Miller Lite buckets/pitchers at Bill's and rather than pour them into cups like civilized humans we just drank from the big bucket. Yeah.

By the end of the night I was stumbling back to the room alone because she was already down for the count. I decided it was a good time to do some sprints down the hotel hallway. Why? Well the hallways were so long why not run and get a sweat worked up and get some of the booze out? Splendid idea, let me tell you. I felt like an Olympian! Finally I had enough and went into the room. I tried to take my lenses out and that went badly. I must've dropped the right one and didn't realize it was out because I kept digging in my eye. And it would NOT come out. So I dug harder and deeper. No luck. I said fuck it and went to bed and woke up to realize I had no lens in and my eye matched my red Phillies cap.

    I'm so proud!

My story: After a long, long day of drinking, around 3 AM I got a hankering to walk from the Rio (where I was staying) over to the Palms. I walked out to the street and decided to abort this mission due to (1) I was too unsteady to successfully navigate crossing that street that was still busy despite the late hour (2) getting down to the Palms looked like more of a hike than I was ready for. I reversed course and started making my way back into the Rio while dodging the traffic coming in. Somehow my feet got tangled up on the edge of the curb and I did a face first dive that left me hung up in a big piece of shrubbery. My feet were literally sticking up in the air waving around and I could not figurre out how to extricate myself. Thankfully, a kind hearted cab driver stopped and helped pull me out of the bushes I was stuck in. Once I was set free, I immediately went to bed because I realized I had no business being out and about on my own.

My buddy's story: I had met up with one of my buddies while in town to play a big blackjack tournament out at the LV Hilton. We went casino hopping with more of an emphasis on the bars than the tables. We went back to the Hilton about midnight and I went to bed to rest up for my tournament the next morning. My buddy insisted on playing some blackjack before crashing. When I came downstairs the next morning to get ready for my 11AM tournament round, there he was on the same table as when I left him hours and hours ago. He was drunk as a skunk. Amazingly, he had a huge pile of chips in front of him. He usually buys in for $500 when he plays blackjack and he had over $7,000 in front of him. I pleaded with him to go on to bed and when he was adamant that he wanted to play some more, I divided his chips into two equal stacks and made him promise me that he would go to the room if he lost one of the stacks. I kept an eye on him from a nearby VP bar until I had to go to my tourny table. When I finished my round (45 minutes), my buddy was gone. When I went up to our room, he was face down on one of the beds with chips scattered everywhere. Later I got the story of how they had eventually cut him off from drinking soon after I checked on him. He immediately pointed out that he saw no sense in gambling if he could not drink while doing so and that he was quitting. That was fine but the two security guards standing there refused to let him go to his room because he was too drunk to walk. They made him get in a wheelchair and wheeled him up to our room. Just as they exited the elevator, my buddy (who is a dead ringer for Mr. Bean by the way) jumped out of the wheelchair and onto the back of one of the security guards while exclaiming "I'm tired of riding in that wheelchair; now I'm gonna ride you!. I think the only thing that saved my buddy from a beatdown is that the other security guard thought that this development was the funniest thing he had seen in weeks and kept the other guy from crushing my friend.

I find a nice cold milkshake in the morning helps, because there is no way solid food will be kept down.
Then start with the water. Lots of it.

I'll never forget the time I drank for 21 hours straigt. Woke up at noon and had a pretty nasty hangover so to eliminate that I took a huge pull of vokda. Up for 5 minutes and already have a couple shots in me. Continued drinking beer all day while walking the strip, goin up The STRAT , fremont etc. Get to Ballys at 12AM and me and my buddy get our gamlbing on. Beers were going down like water down which can be a bad thing since I'm on hour 12 of drinking. Some guys sit down with us at the BJ table and they insist the whole table has to do shots of tequilla, yuck, but I'm here to party. I forget the total count but I'm guessing it was between 5-10 shots. Me and my buddy are still having a blast, still pounding beers, and staying pretty much even as far as chips.

We now notice the scenery is starting to change. Instead of fun loud drunk people, it's all boring people sipping on coffee. We look at the time and its 9 in the fucking morining. We had been playing BJ for 9 hours and I've been drinking for 21. We were so drunk it took us like 45 minutes to walk from Ballys to PH. I figured I drank a good 50+ beers and had about 10 shots for the day. At least nothing stupid or bad happened, just got really really drunk.

Last time I was out. I stayed at the Aria and my two buddies were staying at Caesars. After a long night of drinking all over town we ended up back at the Aria and had some more drinks. Gambled a bit. My buddies tried to walk back to Caesars had to sit on a bench in the lobby for awhile. Finally security came over to check on them. My one buddy was totally wasted and couldn't stand up. The security guards got a wheel chair and wheeled him out of the casino and dumped him In a cab. They actually made it in one piece!! Only in vegas!!

These are a damn scream. Thank you! I can't say I've had any Vegas drunken antics. Sure I drink to excess, but I tend to keep my wits about me (save one night of "it's 4am, my shuttle comes at 7 to take me to the event I was in Vegas for, I should probably get sleep" and wound up cabbing it at 8). But if it was Mexico - a good number of these stories could be me, right down to the pants off dance off (seemed like a great idea at the time). Somehow I let my guard down a lot more there.

I've had my fair share of hangovers in Vegas. These are usually down to long-term binges, day 4 of a 5 day stay type hangovers.

I do remember a visit back about 10 years ago. Me and a buddy arrived Wednesday night, with another group coming in the following day. We were picking them up in a limo at the airport. We arrived with a fully stocked limo and proceeded to do the 2 hour Strip cruise, while killing an assortment of champagne, beer and bacardi. Cruise over and we were off to the hotel, the Barbary Coast.

The pick-up at the airport was around 10am, it was about 2pm by the time we'd dropped everybody off at hotels and made it back to the BC. At this point I decided it was time for Jack and Cokes and Blackjack. I proceeded to play for around 5 hours at the same table. I believe it was a $10 table and I was killing it. I remember hitting on 17 a couple of times, so i'm sure they let me keep playing, knowing they were going to get their money back from this drunk idiot. On 2 occasions they gave me food comps to go and eat. This would be down to my favorite line when i'm drunk in Vegas, "I need to eat", - I never do and in this case, I didn't miss reporting on my food, I still hadn't eaten all day.

My buddy came down to get me around 7. It seems I was betting 2 spots at $75 per, still hadn't eaten, was still drinking jack and cokes and was singing football (soccer) songs, most of which had highly inappropriate lyrics. He and my Dad (I forgot to add the somewhat embarrassing point that my parents were there), walked me up to the room. They were heading over to Caesars later, so they told me I was listing out all the Roman Gods I knew. It seems I knew an impressive list. Once sober, I couldn't tell you one. :)

I woke up around 1am when everyone came back from Caesars, I assume to check to see if I was alive. I felt like i'd been chewing sandpaper and assumed i'd lost a large amount of cash. My buddy pointed me to a wad of cash on the dresser. I'd turned my $200 buy-in into $1100. He told me that included him standing and watching me lose back-to-back two-spot $75 bets ($300), when he decided i'd be best getting to bed.

The next morning, i'd promised my Mum, i'd take her to the Paris buffet for breakfast. Since i'd gone to bed around 7, everybody assumed i'd be good-to-go. Let's just say I held down the breakfast long enough to get back to the BC, but that was about it.

Long story short...... I had to go to Hangover Heaven. I felt so bad I literally wanted to die. The friend that was with me was a nurse and she was even freaked out about how bad I was. The worst hangover of my life (that I remember). I don't even think I had ever been that hungover through college!

I have before and after pictures, but hey, I don't want them on the internet forever..... lol
