Have you ever done something stupid while playing any casino game in Las Vegas?

I drew to 4 Queens on VP and forgot to hold them. Then I left over $100 in a machine and forgot to cash out.

I was once playing craps and I had several Don't bets up. Then I noticed a Pass bet in my position. I asked the dealer, "Is that my Bet?" "Yes" says she. Oh crap, I think it's time to take a break.

A long time ago I was at the Circus Circus playing dollar slots (coins) It was kind of dark so I pulled out what I thought was a twenty and asked the change lady for 20 dollars. That's what she gave me, but i later determined I handed her a Hundred. Was I buzzed? Hell no, I was shit faced.

Oh well that's the way it goes.

    Of course.

But thankfully the recollections are hazy due to the above mentioned shitfacedness. :drunk:

I know I've missed plays in VP, counted to 19 in my head while the cards totaled 23, and that's when I walk away. I've had a snootful in many many locations, Vegas and elsewhere. I'm a big fan of comped drinks, going back to a VP bar and the 'tender remembers what I like and it hits the deck before I ask. But if we have a list of five things to do in Vegas, getting fuckedup ain't on it by design. So when I'm playing and I've kicked something to the curb, or almost did, that's enough. And we just want to do too much during the day on vacation -- golf, spa, sightseeing, getting out -- to get loaded.

    Agreed, ken2v. :nworthy:

But for most of us, that's pretty much after we've learned the lesson. :wink2:

after hitting a royal at Horseshoe Indiana, while awaiting the handpay,, I hit 2 more quads and had over $1,000 in the machine.....walked away with my handpay and never cashed out the ticket. figured it out about 10 minutes later while counting my money,, ran back and it was still in the machine!

While not a drunk move, since I was not really drunk at the time (we had a few beers in us but not that many), but one of the stupidest things I have ever done. I bought in at Aria for $200. Had a good run and won $300 so I cashed out for an even $500 and one purple chip. We decided to walk to Bellagio. I tend to fidget with things to keep my hands busy, it is just what I do. I just always have to keep my hands busy. Since this was Vegas I was playing around with my chip as we walked past the shops a the B. So I am futzing around with my chip and we are talking about how good it is to start the trip both ahead. Then my chip is gone. I freak out....we try to find it...but no luck. I somehow manage to lose a $500 chip, to this day I have no idea what happened to it. I have no idea if I dropped it or it got taken by someone that saw me playing around with it and (accidently)bumped into me and took it (maybe?). But either way I managed to misplace my $500 chip. Ugh a big downer to the mood for the trip.

I was the recipient of one of these moves at the Luxor a couple years back. I put $20 in a machine and the machine told me I had about $140 worth of credits in the machine. I had just hit the floor on the first night too. I cashed out my ticket, got my $140 and put $20 back to play

Well... you folks are making me feel better... just a couple months ago I met a couple of folks from here on VMB at the Hard Rock. They had a pretty good start on me at Pink Taco's Happy Hour, but I caught up with 'em like a champ. We then went out to Hard Rock's Center Bar and I started playing VP with a $100 buy in at the .50 level and as we were talkin' and drinkin', I was doin' pretty well and cashed out a ticket at around $580. I had plenty of cash on me and bought round after round of drinks... later... much later we all adjourned... next morning I woke-up... no ticket and very little cash. I managed to lose the $580 ticket! I did find out by checking with security, that they could verify the ticket via my players card and that if it hadn't been cashed, they would have payed it... but... no such luck... some bastard picked it up and cashed it at like 1:30 a.m.

I think I may have tipped the craps dealers at one of the Louisiana casinos a purple chip. I remember stumbling up to the table after making a killing at blackjack. I seem to recall tossing down three purple's for change into greens and then may have thrown another and said "for the dealers". I play there enough and they all know me well...but I don't know if I imagined this or it really happened. This same night/morning I was making my way up to our room and stopped by the little gift shop for some water and juice to drink and walked up to the register and gave her my order. She kindly told me that it was self service. Oops.

I will never be that guy who falls asleep or passes out while standing up at the craps tables though!

I usually know when it is time to pack it in. Once i cannot count out my chips for my bets quick enough then I am in the "take yo ass to bed" zone.

We were at a blackjack table once and this dude was wasted beyond belief. He was hitting hard 17 and 18's...AND WINNING. He couldn't even talk. This was at NYNY.

Dropping a chip on a casino carpet sucks because those carpets are so loud and colorful they practically camouflage the chip. I dropped a yellow once at Bellagio and me and the pit bosses were looking all over for it. They finally found it and even looking straight at it you could barely tell it was there. If you're drunk trying to find a chip on those crazy carpets good luck.

I was super wasted and sat down at a BJ table at The D. Played a couple hands then read what I thought said "BJ Pays 2:1" on the felt. I grabed my chips and left thinking what the fuck kinda pay tables are these?!? It wasn't till the next day I was walking through there again when I actually read the table that said "Insurance pays 2:1" I felt like such an idiot.

Lost my buy-in at the Craps table and continue to pull out $$$ from my pocket instead of walking away.

After a long drive to Denver [14 hrs] and getting a bit turned around hubs and I made it to Blackhawk. Well hubs was exhausted but I had slept in the car so all good. Anyway he goes to the room for sleep and I go play / exploring. Well if any of you have been to Blackhawk all the bigger properties are connected with bridges or tunnel I guess so you are not outside too much. So I completely mis calculated the effect of high altitude on my drunkness level. I was happily playing at a table and hubs had only gave me hundy well I must have been doing well cause there was several greens and a few blacks but all of the sudden I hit the wall. So I gather up chips in my little bag. The dealer says let me call security for you - thought I might have done something dumb but evidently it's something that happens often because they just asked me for my hotel room key and walked me all the way to the door. Next morning I check out my gambling expecting to find nothing per usual but found a few hundred from casinos all the way down the road. Goodness sake LOL

Not me but this is a funny one....I was playing BJ in HL of Harrah's New Orleans. Security comes out with a fill for the table. He drops a green chip on the floor. Then he's on his hands and knees looking for the chip. Then all the dealers in HL are calling security because a drunk is peeing on the wall on the other side of the room. Security's first priority is the green chip. The drunk is dealt with when backup arrives.

I usually do stupid stuff, like miss low pairs on VP after I've been drinking a while. I'll usually switch to video slots.

Sat at a $10 table at TI with a guy about 60 who was totally blitzed. Spoke slurred broken English. Bet the table max every time. Finally announced he had to pee and never came back, leaving $750 in chips on the table.

My dramatic mind labeled him a money launderer for a Mexican drug cartel.

Walking insane distances back to my hotel, eating food that wouldn't be approved for human consumption by the Mexican FDA and being that guy who dances like a fool in front of the Fremont stages.
