    The reason why the Washington area is so high on the list is that the surrounding counties, both in MD and VA, are some of the richest in the US.

    Who the hell came out with #10 .Hunterdon is mostly rural ,Somerset has some super wealthy areas along with some dumps ,but Middlesex? Really ? I guess people who live near highways,trucking warehouses,malls and oil depots are happy. Not really a defined city to begin with.

    I'm so happy I left the NYC area. It was a good idea to relocate to the Pac NW.
