    What is the best movie that is set in Vegas?

    I'm a sucker for Ocean's Eleven (original and remake) and I recently watched Last Vegas which was a pretty cool feel-good movie.

    I always enjoy watching '21' mainly because it has Kevin Spacey in it as well as some great Vegas shots.

    So many come to mind, but I always like "Leaving Las Vegas" which was sad. A happy comedy would be "Honeymoon in Vegas". Strangely enough both star Nick Cage.

    Vegas Vacation is a good one. The blackjack scene where Clark is just getting murdered is hilarious and maddening at the same time. I also hate it because sometimes i feel like it should be easy to win a car at the end of your trip.

    I also like both Ocean 11 movies. I saw the newer one before the older one. I was surprised how much i liked the old one, and its good to see Vegas of a different era.

    I love Rainman but couldn't decide whether it could be classified as a Vegas film as 80%(ish) is set elsewhere.

    The Cooler, one of my favorites. The soundtrack is awesome! It harkens back to the old days of gambling in Las Vegas, as already said. NO CORPORATIONS! Well, almost. Never really liked Alec Baldwin, until this movie.
    Yonkers Joe. Not a lot of Las Vegas, but, enough. The Plaza looks like where most of the "good stuff" happens.
    Ocean's 11 (prefer the original.)

    I know, but the escalator scene and then the BJ table still ranks as one of the best imo.

    I love the movie as a whole but the depiction of card counting is laughable. 21 is so much better in that regard. Sensationalized but better.
