    Hey all

I'm cerebrating my 65th birthday in Vegas Sept5-8 birthday is Monday 8th with 6 family members

Family will be there, but have to leave too early to celebrate with dinner so going to go with lunch.

price is not a very big concern would appreciate any ideas. Staying at Green Valley Ranch so if any

suggestions for Henderson that would be close, but not necessary.

    Thanks

I can't really help you with Henderson suggestions. If you were on the Strip, I would suggest the Milos lunch at Cosmo

There's a cooking school near GVR that might do lunch on a day you can attend. Don't recall the name or the schedule. Cheap, very good food, and close by.

If price is no concern Giada's on the strip would be memorable.

I third the suggestion to do Milos. Definitely do the upgrade to octopus appetizer. And consider the lobster pasta upgrade (best is if two people team up and one person upgrades to the lobster pasta while the other gets the whole fish). And then, since dessert course sucks, drive over to Sweets Raku and have a three-course dessert. It's no more than a 10 minute drive from Cosmo if you go around back.

In Henderson, I would say go to Todd's Unique. It's a Henderson institution. I'd also recommend Table 54. If you want an old-school traditional steak house, try Hank’s Fine Steaks & Martinis. For Italian, it's a chain, but try Gaetano’s Ristorante. If you like sushi, go to Sushi Mon for AYCE (sushi rolls, nigiri, and lots of other items like grilled yellowtail collars and tempura). If you're at GVR, Settebello is very close and it's supposedly some of the best Neapolitan pizza around, but I haven't found it all that special.
