I was reading on another thread about a "senior citizen" (LOL!!!!) discount on a buffet for 50+? It was an old thread and it was for the buffet at Silverton. Anyone know of great deals for this age? I thought "senior citizen" discounts started at 55, but if I can get a discount at 50, I'll take it!

If you go to off-strip casinos, there may discounts. We have been to Sam's Town and they consider you a "senior" at 50. Now for the discounts, I'm not sure. I know they have a certain day that they have drawings and such. Hopefully someone from the board can help you with this.

Gold Coast, Orleans, Stations casinos, Palms, all have 50+ offer on certain days. Either point multipliers, BOGO buffets, cheap movie tickets etc. I can't remember all the details, but there are a ton of offers for 50+

Take advantage of all the Boyd properties. They run their "Young at Heart" specials (for us 50+).

Here's their link with many of the specials listed for each casino http://www.boydgaming.com/

I always use their free breakfast/lunch buffet with min 50 points on certain days at Gold Coast when I am near there.

50 is the new 65! Works for me. The way they are "younging down" the strip.... 45+ might come into play soon.

If you just turned, a lot of them give you a different card that designates you a senior. One use to put a sticker on it. God wish I was 50 again!!LOL

I know that the question was for 50, but the 4Q offers a 20% discount for food at 55. Will be taking advantage of the discount at Hugo's when I stay there in August.

Go to http://www.fourqueens.com/.... click on gaming... then on Club 55... it gives most of the advantages of the over 55 players card... the 20% off at Hugo's and the 2/1 at Magnolia's in your birthday month are my favorites...

The Palms was the site of our first ever senior discount. It happened last year and we were very excited. In all the excitement, I don't remember the details or the discount. But they did have a separate menu with the senior specials. We needed some "old fart" sticker on our players card to qualify.

we sometimes take advantage of Orleans (Wed now) and Silverton (Mondays) buffet deals for seniors, check their websites for details. Food is decent especially if you eat light.
