    Trips to Las Vegas:
    50
    Hello,

1st post to these forums. I made seven star last year and am still fairly new to the ins and outs of the Caesars top tier program. In the early part of 2014 I was getting free play offers for around $2500 a trip. After taking them up on the offers but not giving much action my offers dropped down to about $1250 for the 2nd quarter of the year and about $850 through September. I was just in Vegas pretty much full time during the WSOP these last few weeks and degened up about 300K tier credit points in June and July. My question is should I not take the trips with the $850 in free play that is offered through the end of September and wait to see if my offers will drastically increase again? Does it work that way? I have heard different things from different people. Some say the offers are there and if you don't take them you lose them while I've heard others say that taking an offer hurts your future offers especially if you don't give a lot of play on that offer.

    Thanks

    Bart

Your offers are based on your historical play for the past several months. You can take an offer and low play now and it will take 2-3 months for your offers to be affected but once that occurs they will be affected negatively in a big way. You saw what happened to your offers on your past trips that you played lower. Using or not using the offer has virtually no bearing on your future offers. It is trips to the casino and how that affects your ADT. Based on your high tier credits you scored over the past couple months you will be see a dramatic increase to your offers. As long as you do not go and low play soon you will see a big rebound in your offers.

    Bart-
What games and levels of play are you playing to get these offers? I would love to know. I have never received anywhere near those numbers. Primarily play tables around 1000/bet average and played slots and some vp last trip and my offers are 100 bucks free play???

Usually I play between $500-$1000 of Blackjack. I probably played 30-40 hours in 2013 to just get 7 star at around 150K. This year I played a ton of VP. Basically played to the 5K Bonus to 15K points for 20 days with a few heavy blackjack days in there. I will say this is the first time I discovered VP. The Rio pretty much sucks. They only have a few 9/6 JOB games in their High Limit area and even all of their 9/5 games are in High Limit. A comp hustling buddy of mine told me that it was better to play the 9/5 games at 1 pt for every $10 in as opposed to the 9/6 at 1 for $25 because you get better flier offers. So that is basically what I did. Let just say I didnt hit a royal :( and played $125 a spin entire summer.

I'm still a little confused. Let's say the third quarter ends at the end of September and I have 4 $800 offers each weekend. I will not be giving them any action on these offers. Is it better for me to not book these offers and wait so that 4th quarter and 1st quarter 2015 offers will be higher?

There is about a 3 month lag time, but if you lost a ton over the last few weeks (and it sounds like you did) then you can expect your offers to increase drastically. If you lost more than $5k per day on average over the past few weeks you can expect those $2500 freeplay offers again in a few months. My advice is to not use your total rewards card at CZR properties for a few months and see what shows up. Then you can drain them dry again and start over.
